Was he toking on a fatty at the end there after saying the grass is damn green in Eugene?

Straight up bad ass.  Glad they are joining the Big.

New buds have already…

New buds have already sprouted.

I gotta think some of our current players will be future Michigan coaches.

I'll take one!

I'll take one!

Location is a significant…

Location is a significant downgrade:  Chapel Hill to East Landfill.  Yeesh!

sounds right; good to know!

Plenty of folks from the old…

Plenty of folks from the old Haloscan days.  I am thinking particularly of the coach who always talked about the X's and O's vs the Jimmys and Joes--cannot remember his name...

Along with a cocky,…

Along with a cocky, complacent, and overconfident Alabama team.  People seem to forget that they expended a LOT of mojo to beat to Georgia (as did we to beat OSU).  Kind of hoping I hear some trash talk from their players about how we're not that great.

I am glad the game is on Jan 1.  New Year's Eve has been pretty bad for us going back to the Orange bowl vs FSU.  I loved Mo H but dammit I wish he had looked for the ball instead of rubbing his belly--good chance we win if we get that fumble.

It may have been Uncle Lou.

It may have been Uncle Lou.

Last time we played them in…

They were favored the last time we played them in a bowl game; we won.

Clearly, this genius has perfected the process.  Might even be patented.

We also have had the better overall coaching staff.

Some of the best Aurora I ever saw happened in the UP (Hancock) in June of 1991.

I  am an avid stargazer, but I live in TX now.  Enjoy the show for me if you can. :)

Yes, that will do as long as…

Yes, that will do as long as it's corn silk in that pipe.

(or ditch weed I guess seeing as we are talking about Iowa)

What is the over/under on there being an Orji in the endzone?

The Sainristill hit sequence…

The Sainristill hit sequence made me laugh until I cried!

Well done, Roman!

I didn't get that far into…

I didn't get that far into the drivel-fest, so thanks for posting that.

Astounding they have reached this Sparty level of delusion.

Yes, it is unbecoming of them to act this way.  But it is so sweet after the depths of BPONE we wallowed in not that long ago.  I'll probably partake in some every day until the new year--sort of like an advent calendar of schadenfreude.

"on the road, the weather,…

"on the road, the weather, etc."

The weather?   Wait, they are playing that card again?

Geez, the earlier post about cognitive dissonance is spot on.  And these are guys that follow the team.  Utter nonsense.  May as well get Jay Willy Silly on there.

The victory over OSU in 1997…

The victory over OSU in 1997 was special in so many ways.

And yet, this feels even better.

This is one of the happiest days of my life!

Urban sounded either shaken…

Urban sounded either shaken or maybe a bit drunk on the postgame piece.  His comments about Sherrone Moore were spot on, however.

It's a wasteland over there…

It's a wasteland over there all right.  But I laughed out loud many times reading some of that shit.

What a wasteland of humanity that place is.

Truly, our win over OSU was their biggest loss of the season.  Can you even imagine how pathetic you must feel as a fanbase to feel that way?

Since moving from Austin in…

Since moving from Austin in Aug 2021 to my new rural abode, Michigan has not lost to OSU.  Also, will be wearing my lucky 2021 Big Ten Champions tee.

Other than that, just channeling purely positive waves to JJ.  I remember the days of Rick 'the Peach' Leach.   This feels very similar.

Good call.  I am also an in…

Good call.  I am also an in-person jinx and will accordingly stay in my lane.

I imagine McCord running…

I imagine McCord running away from Grant only to be engulfed by Mason Graham.  If McCord goes down and can't play, they are screwed.

Michigan stadium needs to be the loudest it has ever been.  This is literally the biggest game ever.

Yost putting up a point a…

Yost putting up a point a minute.  Gomberg discovering trivalent carbon.  Those were good times!

Also, Ryan Day is an electrophile.

Go Blue!

The wife and kids were out…

The wife and kids were out ringing the Salvation Army bell during the game, so I had the place to myself.

While not participating online, the house still stank of curse words when the family returned.  My wife asked, "What is that smell? And why is the cat's fur sticking straight up?  Did Michigan lose?"

I feel like a degenerate.  Apparently, I have company.

Go Blue!

Here is a 2012 article…

Here is a 2012 article commemorating that 900th win and also a few other milestone victories.  A few of these (numbers 100 and 300) came during national championship years.

https://mgoblue.com/news/2012/10/22/Remembering_No_900_Milestone_Football_Wins

The 1932 team featured some notable MI legends such as Willis Ward, Gerald Ford and my son Jack!

Vacated.

You'll hear that…

Vacated.

You'll hear that word a lot by the haters after we get to win # 1,000 this Saturday against Maryland.

The only thing that is going to be vacated are the bowels of our opponents after we kick the shit out of them.

Chip Kelly would be a huge…

Chip Kelly would be a huge upgrade for Sparty.  Is he their next wet dream?

The one for the Purdue game…

The one for the Purdue game was eminently listenable.  The announcers in that case seemed to have prepared well and were very respectful--unlike the horrid MSU announcers.

I look forward to these and will give it a listen.

Amen, brother!

Amen, brother!

I love rushing touchdowns!

M for MIchigan.

M (the Roman numeral) for 1000.

Go Blue!

Seriously.  Can we tack on 1…

Seriously.  Can we tack on 1,000,000 MGo Points for this Known Friend and Trusted Agent?

My thoughts exactly.  The…

My thoughts exactly.  The defense will show out big.

History rhymes (vs repeats); so, I am going with 35-6

Can't stop thinking about that '97 game.  Few believed in us before that game.

Wasn't that the same weekend Nebraska illegally kicked the ball back in the air for their miracle touchdown?

I am thinking strip sacks…

I am thinking strip sacks may also be in the cards.  I look at that diagram and I see Mason Graham blowing past his guy and smothering Allar on passing downs.  Graham's sacks make me think I am watching WWE and not college level football. I love that dude!

Limit explosive runs by PSU and Michigan wins because of our suffocating defense will give the offense lots of breathing room.

Kind of funny how no one is…

Kind of funny how no one is talking about the absolute ass-whooping OSU is going to put on them this Saturday.  And they still have PSU to deal with also.

On the bright side, they may find a way to rough up McCord and finish what Wisconsin started.  (WI got hosed by the refs in that game--that was absolutely a failed lateral and not an incomplete pass)

Or even USC at the end of…

Or even USC at the end of next year?

I go over there once in a…

I go over there once in a while for laughs.  Most of them have realized their Urban wet dream never climaxed--apparently Shelly Meyer came and out flatly said he wasnt coaching there (or something like that; I dont really care).

A few completely delusional idiots still believe Urban is coming.

The rhetoric had shifted to talking up LL to placate their feeling of spurned forlorn.  A long rebuild is in order up there and they all know it.

But hey, they beat Nebraska!

Or wind of a major boycott…

Or wind of a major boycott of everything ESPN by a huge fanbase.

I unplugged everything ESPN today.  Including any type of feed from YouTube; even if it plays in the background without clicking on it the tally of clicks is still there.  Expunge!

Thanks for that.  Got it…

Thanks for that.  Got it corrected.  (Apologies Rick!)

Not that weird, but I went…

Not that weird, but I went to DCDS with Rick Sutkiewicz.

One hell of a soccer player; got a scholarship to play on the UM football team.  Those who attended games when our beloved coach was the QB may remember Rick as the bare-footed kicker during kickoffs ('85 and '86 I think?)

Not sure Michigan has had a bare-footed kicker since.

The more I think about it,…

The more I think about it, going for it on 4th down deep in our own territory was just as much a middle finger to Purdue as trying something out in a low risk situation.  Even better might have been to never punt--might have completed at least half of those 4th downs.  We would have still won.

This shit has succeeded in getting me really salty.  If I still lived in MI I would 100% find my way to Ann Arbor to stir the pot before, during and after the Game.  I still seethe with anger about the Dead Schembechlers.  I swear to god if I ever come across any of those motherfuckers....

Not knowing much about our…

Not knowing much about our President, I googled Santa Ono and learned that he is an accomplished biomedical scientist in the field of immunology and also a graduate of the University of Chicago.

As a scientist, my thoughts immediately drifted back to Jonas Salk and Francis Collins, Michigan legends in the field of immunology, past and present.  I take great personal satisfaction knowing we have a scientist at the helm of our beloved University.

The University of Chicago is, of course, inextricably linked the University of Michigan and its football program.  After all, our fight song describes nothing less than a valiant victory over an Amos Alonzo Stagg led U. of Chicago team.  Stagg's coaching tree includes none other than National Champion and master innovator Fritz Crisler.

Anyone else feeling the Ghost of Yost amongst us at this time of destiny?

I feel it and I believe.  Go Blue!

How do you say IOON?

That these eight words are…

That these eight words are true speaks to the truly bizarre era of college football we are witnessing.

My thoughts exactly.

My thoughts exactly.

Absolutely!

We've come a…

Absolutely!

We've come a long way from Hoke looking weak as shit apologizing to MD about making a divot in the MSU sideline.  I'll never forget or forgive that.

Get Jim's contract done and make a statement with it, Michigan!  Go Blue!
