Actually we do make it. If there is a three way tie, it goes by the CFP committee rankings, not AP. And if the top two teams ranked are right next to each other in those rankings, the 2nd ranked team goes if it won a head to head matchup against the higher ranked team, which would be the exact case in this hypo.
Not really. The true money line right now is something like -280/+350. Meaning for no point spread, you would need to wager $350 on UM to win $100. The -115 and -110 are what you need to place to win 100 while also giving points in this case.
Wouldn't more people bet on NU at +10 than +7.5? I think this change in the spread does encourage more money to be placed on NU to balance out the money (if huge sums were bet on UM recently) or the anticipated money (if major news is about to come out which will affect the game).
Not to change the topic, but I can't start a thread. Just heard Texas A&M dropped their home and home with USC in 2015 and 2016. Would love to see UM add USC those years, with the caveat that USC be the home game when we play OSU and Staee on the road.
This is all new though-you linked a thread talking about older info on the topic. I didn't see it anywhere on the front page. Pretty interesting stuff.

Big Mike is a behemoth.
Can't start a new thread, but more trouble at Baylor:

Sickening.
What about Bolden?
If the terms are right for the current members I would also like those two teams. They both bring a lot to the table in many ways.
It's all good.

I can't create a thread but maybe Texas to the B1G has been discussed again by some important parties:

You forgot Dennis Dixon. That was a painful game to be at.
