Where does Peppers fit best in the NFL?
I would have to say Peppers fits best as a rookie in the 2019-2020 season after having earned his degree and a master's degree as well. You can't put a price on education these days, especially with all of the on the field injuries in the NFL.

I am a bit surprised that Mike San Antonio has gotten so full of himself. Printing up posters of all his victories over UM and hanging them up in the football building lobby, grafting our slogan "Those who stay are already champions," printing up all of the back to back championship crap, and of course his players tweeting out that they will lock UofM up in their stadium for 60 minutes...
Pride comes before the fall...

I think Fleck has done a great job, but WMU wasn't at the bottom of FBS before Fleck got there, they were a middle level MAC team.
In the five years prior to Fleck WMU went: 9-4, 5-7, 6-6, 7-6, 4-8.
With 3 straight best in the MAC recruiting classes Fleck made WMU go: 1-11, 8-5, 8-5, and thus far 6-0.
He is an elite recruiter and motivator. I am not sure he is an elite Xs and Os guy though.

Likely to have no real problems...but it is quite possible there will be issues.
I went in 2011 and got called a "gay fa--ot" for simply minding my own business as I walked to the stadium by a pack of college kids who got briefly in my face for a second.
In the stadium I heard another homophobic slur, F-bombs, and a man pleading to "tear that fu--ers head off" when Denard took one of many cheap shots.
I was sitting next to a man who identified himself as a professor at MSU who personally apologized for the dirty play and foul mouths.

It seems like my neighbor wanted Harbaugh to call a time out and then send this message over to Ash under a white flag of truce:
Your honorable Ash,
Your Obedient Servant,

I would argue from a game standpoint, we needed to do it.
You would sit back as a head coach and let Rutgers slam 8 guys into 4 or 5 of our guys on right side of our line every time we kicked?!
With some of their guys getting through, our guys double teamed, on slippery grass where injuries can happen...and a possible blocked kick that could get returned.
All you had to do was run a trick play up the gut to keep them honest...but we shouldn't because of feelings and/or politeness?
If they are still playing to block kicks on the point afters, why shouldn't we keep playing on the point afters?

Peppers said Harbaugh went for 2 last year, because Rutgers players were talking trash in the tunnel going into halftime despite being down 19 and then he went "livid" in the lockerroom.

SEC doesn't like to have too many games north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Pride comes before the fall. It was awful prideful to print up all of that "The road begins here for Back to Back Championship" crap that Dantonio did. How is that back to back championship drive coming along at 0-2 in conference play?

We must improve a lot before the OSU game, but we more than doubled Wisconsin in both yards and first downs.
If Allen would have been on, we could have been up 16-0 when Wisconsin scored.

|3 weeks 22 hours ago||No disrespect intended||
No disrespect intended towards Wisconsin, but they didn't exactly thrash MSU. MSU in fact outgained Wisconsin in yards.
Wisconsin returned a fumble more than 50 yards for a TD when MSU appeared to be on a scoring drive for at least a FG. Then a dropped punt put Wisconsin at the 7 yard line. Take away those two plays and that final MSU drive that stalled inside the redzone could have been looking to tie the game.
Yes, Wisconsin won fair and square...but the stats indicate that it wasn't a "thrashing."

Ummm, Wisconsin did in fact attempt a field goal vs MSU.
Endicott attempted 1 field goal from 41 yards and made it. He was 3 of 4 on extra points.

Does out-hitting us mean that they out-physicaled us? If so, sounds like someone was out-coached to lose 51-14 despite out-hitting the opponent.

That is likely what happened, but is it not possible that he looked at the depth chart at TE and talked to Harbaugh about that frankly and he came to his own conclusion.

Winning will solve it. If we win out - 13-0 - I don't see Houston getting into the playoffs above us. Especially as Oklahoma quite possibly could have 3 or 4 losses by the end of the regular season taking the luster off of that win.

Easy on Lloyd.
He has UofM's only National Championship since the 1940s. He isn't exactly a crappy coach,

I think it is fair to say that Colorado was slightly better than CSU last year.
4-9 in the Pac12 is at least equivalent to 7-6 in the Mountain West. Colorado won head to head, and computer polls like Sagarin give the slight edge to Colorado.

Mason Cole played fine as a freshman at the LT position. Bredeson could maul a bear, he should do well too. I expect great things from him in the future. Next to Gary, he is the freshman I am most excited about, because we need to get back to controlling the line of scrimmage.

It sounds like the player that would be punished the most severe was going to be injured for the first month of the season anyways.
My guess is their starters will be back in time for MSU.
