I don't think he had a particularly strong season. If he went now I don't know if he would even get drafted or if he did it would late. I would be surprised if he went pro at this point. Better served to come back. Maybe he can up his sack total...
Good luck, sucks to lose such a talented player. I think M will be fine without him or as fine as they would have been with him. Give a chance for the younger players to get some reps, I think we have a few real good young players (based on potential).
Congrats to the 6'7'' former QB! I think he will do very well in the NFL as a huge receiving threat. A lot will depend on how much he will have to block. Not much to gain by coming back an extra year to not get thrown to.
Am I the only one who thinks he actually looks a bit out of shape? Big and strong but also carrying a lot of excess weight. Most likely due to his injury a while back....
I wonder if York will go up in the rankings over the next few months after his stellar performances at the camps. That should help us in these rankings. Either way, I am glad we got him but would like to see a few more high targets sign before the end of the season.
I agree with most of you. I think all of our weaknesses were exposed in this game. We are not very athletic, we are inconsistent shooting, we do not rebound very well and we are short. I think most of this will change next year with GRIII, McGary and even Stauskas. I think we will start Burke PG, Hardaway SG, GRIII SF, McGary PF and then Morgan C, with Smot, Staukas and Vogrich all getting quality time.
This story paints how sad it was for Stu and Novak to leave Michigan on such a sour note. They finally get a decent seed and lose in the first round. They helped bring us to where we are today and it is sad this is their last game. Hopefully next year we can use this experience as a positive to motivate us.
