Are the EE's allowed to show up to bowl practices/games? If so, are any planning to do so?

Besides Shepherd the other numbers that jumps out to me is Petway's 50% shooting percentage from 3 point range! (I'm guessing that he's 1 for 2?) And Stu only shooting in the 20%'s from downtown.

My mother is currently fighting cancer. The chemo treatments are kicking her butt but she keeps getting back up off the mat asking for more in hopes that the treatments are also kicking the cancer's butt. So far there has only been minor progress, but she's still fighting.
Thanks to all the medical researchers out there and those taking on the medical trials. Some day soon I hope that a cure is found.

I think he must be referring to wearing shirts that are red in color. In that case he is totally correct as Hoke would never allow Shane to get a red shirt.

goes out to that kid. He has lost so much. I wish him nothing but the best.

Seemed like Prince and Miggy were pretty tight. Hope losing one doesn't hurt the other.

A few years ago I would have put NDs unis on this list, but I'm not a fan of their new shiny helmets. They don't match the pants the way the old helmets did.

Nice night for the B1G with wins by Wisconsin and MSU over strong teams. Will certainly help the conference's RPI. Nice start to teh season.
|5 weeks 2 days ago||Personally I'd like to see||
Personally I'd like to see Michigan go almost exclusively from a spread formation the rest of the year. The fewer defenders/blitzers in the box that have to be blocked, the better. I cringe every time Michigan lines up in a heavy formation as it doesn't tend to end well.

He won't choose OSU, MSU or ND. For that I'm happy.

Dantonio over Hoke? You have to be kidding me.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Huskers||
You guys forget that there were a number of Huskers in attendance. MSC was talking really slow such that the Huskers might be able to understand.

That makes sense, but how do they determine who gets bumped up? I thought it was enrollment, but schools like Zeeland, Byron Center and Mt. Plesant all have larger enrollments than EGR. Wouldn't they get bumped up first?
|7 weeks 4 days ago||How selected||
Any one know how the 5-4 teams are selected? For example, East Garnd Rapids finished 5-4 and more "playoff points" then a 5-4 team like Wayland. Wayland makes the playoffs, East Grand Rapids does not. Is it because there were already 2 teams from their conference in the playoffs?

Must be one of those classes that they have just to keep athlete's grade up. Coach has to talk to the players about being responisble on social media, might as well give them credit hours for it.

Looks like Buckholtz greased his hair tonight. I'd watch him for trying to doctor the ball.
|10 weeks 2 days ago||Remember when||
UM had a special teams coach that was one of teh first to run a spread punt formation? It didn't work so well and he resigned/got fired during the season.
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Final Four Banner?||
Don't they mean National Runner Up Banner?
As I recall, the years they finished runner up, they don't raise a banner that says Final Four, they raise a banner that says Runner Up. Has this changed?
|10 weeks 3 days ago||Go Jordan||
Funny when I think back a few years at how disgusted I was with UM's defensive performance and this was only magnified by the fact that they were going to start a walk-on at safety that wasn't recruited by anybody out of high school. I quickly became a big fan of his and glad to hear that he is officially playing in the NFL. Way to go Jordan.

Tailgating in the golf course
The band taking the field
The band playing the victors while marching down the field in a block M
Drum major back bend - touching hat or head to the field
Drum major tossing his baton through the goal post in the pre game
The team running out of the tunnel and touching the banner
Toilet paper from the student section after the first score (please, someone start that up again!)
After a score the cheerleaders doing one back flip for each point Michigan has scored
The announcer thanking the crowd for being part of the largest crowd watching a football game anywhere in America today, and then annoucning the attendance.
Watching Michigan beating just about every team that comes into the Big House
After the game, spending time reading about the victory in blogs and in the Sunday paper.

Fig Things 20
|15 weeks 3 days ago||Awesome||
One of the things that makes Michigan great is all of the former players that continue to give back to the program. I think I saw Charles Woodson, Dhani Jones, Marlin Jackson, Jake Long, Brian Griese, James Hall, Larry Foote, and Mike Hart all in that video. Not to mention that Tom Brady was just on back talking to the team. Great to see the former players back on campus!

IIRC Graham had only played football a year or so in high school but it was enough to get him walk-on offers from Michigan and ohio. Congrats to Graham for sticking with it and putting in the work to earn a scholarship.
|17 weeks 3 days ago||No surprise||
No suprise as (1) Green's a freshman, and (2) that kind of talk is good motivation for all the backs.
If you recall, Mike Hart - who was by far Michigan's best freshman back ever - didn't start and didn't even really get many carries until his third or fourth game of the year.

won an Arena Bowl title - so they are technically the last pro football team in Michigan to win a title.

AC was the best. Anytime the ball was in the air, whether thrown or kicked, and it was headed in AC's direction there was an excitment in the stadium that has been unmatched since - with the possible exception of when Denard took of running with an open lane ahead of him. #1 on his jersey, and #1 in the hearts and minds of those who had the pleasure of watching him play in the winged helmet.
For those that did not get to see him play, he was a THREE time All American WR that played for an offense run by Bo "three yards and a cloud of dust" Schembechler. That should give you an idea of how special AC was.
AC was the quickest player I have ever seen. So many opposing players wanted to really hit him hard and put him out of the game but AC was so quick they could never get a good hit on him. One of the clips above showed AC step back after he caught the ball and you see the defender go flying by in front of AC. I would say that that was one of AC's signature moves. I remember one game were the defender thought he'd out smart AC and anticipate his step back after the catch - only AC went forward after the catch and the defender looked liked a total fool diving at air 3 feet behind AC. Good memories.
