And that team will grab McCarthy in mid first round, to sit behind Drew Lock for one year, then it’s JJ time!
We made the playoff 3 years in a row, now we can get in with 2-3 losses, we have an amazing program that has won the national championship while recruiting outside the top ten and with the best academics in FBS NC history!

Truly, these rankings don't change our season at all. If we win B1G East and the conference championship, we're in. Even if (highly unlikely) we lose to Penn State, if the tiebreaker goes our way and we beat OSU and win in Indy and go 12-1, we're in. We're not getting in the way OSU did last year (without winning the conference) so, again, the rankings just aren't going to matter.

With respect to Jadyn Davis’ potential, I completely agree with looking for a number 1 QB for 2024 in the portal. We’re already seeing some amazing portal contributions by Barner, Nugent, and even Tuttle in a backup role.
Our schedule next year is the toughest I can remember. We’re going to need veteran leadership from day 1, and as another reader mentioned, Cam Rising has played against Washington and USC.

But I trust the program. We now have practiced outside zone enough to use it as a counter, and have taken the bubble wrap off of McCarthy so he can keep on reads (especially toward the boundary)
I’m ready to see Blake have a 150 plus day on NU, with Edwards contributing on gadgets and in the passing game, and Mullings playing more.

We all know idiots who support other teams and will complain that Michigan is tainted and is getting away with a slap on the wrist (which is likely B.S.), but it gives us the best chance to compete for a national championship this year and keep Harbaugh for years to come.

I get that we're not Wide Receiver U, so recruiting the 5* is going to be tough, but I see a role for a BMOC type guy who takes advantage of our running emphasis to be THE MAN, fighting off a double team and high pointing the deep ball, a la Braylon, so I'll remain optimistic, so long as we keep on winning, we're gonna get our very own superstar at wide out.
Agreed, I think the 12 team playoff will allow Michigan to regularly schedule at least one good non conference matchup, so I am hopeful this will be the last season we have to endure the three cupcake preseason.
Hart’s biggest gift might be the art of protecting the football. Didn’t he only have a couple of fumbles lost in his career?
