Go back and look at Grant Perrys high school film. Bell looks a little thinner with better leaping ability, pretty close otherwise. Rivals has Perry at 6'/185 Bell is 6'1 175 so that seems right. Perrys route running was advanced but both appeared very willing to block in high school.
USA football is an excellent resourse for this age group. Also, YouTube Seattle Seahawk tackling skills.
Big thing is to learn how to run the practice. Such as 10 min warm up, 15 min on "O", 15 mins on "D" , 10 mins kickoff/return. That then leaves 25 mins to work on "Improving weak areas" that come up though the season. (I run 75 min practices).
They learn best by having a routine those first 45 mins of practice. Reps over and over and over. Repeat the same sentences over and over to drive the point home. If that age group gets the basic fundementals down they will win games.
PTSD is real. I believe 80% of our fan base suffers from this horrible psychological disease. 5% of the fan base is so young its never seen a Rose Bowl victory. 15% of us understand whats going on and that MSU is going to suffer a horrible beat down. All of us will hold our breath for "The Game." With this "D" top 5 ranking is reasonable.
J. Irons played at The Woodlands high school 1st city just north of Houston. A Luck also played just outside of Houston. JJ Watt might be the most popular player in the NFL. Nolan Ryan would also be a big hit...
I would hope UofM would offer him to be the highest paid AD in the country. Then if he says no, so be it. Who ever becomes the next AD JH signed off on it and thats the most important part.
You never know when saying something bad about someone in a public forum will come back to bite you in the ass. Keep it in your inner circle if you need to vent. You might feel better at that "Moment" but it almost always ends up being a mistake later.
I agree with 71. Hoke failed, and Gardner should have kept it in house. I love Gardner but that 30 seconds of typing made Michigan look bad. Wasn't worth it...
Before the MSU game that lead to Gardners PTSD he could do it all. Tall, fast, with strong accurate arm. Poor OL coaching did as much damage to Gardner as anything else...
I do agree that he also could have been an All American WR. I'm just not sure Harbaugh would have moved a 5 star QB to WR the moement he got on campus. He likes QBs that can run...
Larry Fitzgerald or Stevie Johnson at my 3rd WR. I have Mike Evans but he is game time decision at 4pm.
Drafted Evans and Shady McCoy...Damn my luck for week 1.
So you know something about our starting QB Harbaugh doesn't? Please share your vast football head coaching knowledge. I mean why didn't the Raiders call you???
It's a college football tradition. A small reward system for those that don't get paid to play the game. If it gives the kids even a 0.1% more motivation to perform you do it. Leave no stone unturned to be the best.
I agree the clean helmet looks better over all. After the last 7 years I say let Jimmy do what ever Jim feels he needs to do to get wins.
Several better options then the only QB in our life times to win a NC at Michigan?? You need to learn some respect....Many put up better numbers and were more athletic i'll agree. BG was as cool as the other side of the pillow as the Field General and won the big one...He had the mental side of thing which is more important....I mean look at Ryan Leaf...
This kid can flat out shoot the ball. I think that was really missed last year. I don't think Irvin was ready to be the "Man" once LeVert and Walton went down. He doesn't have to be the man once again and I think he will improve dramaticly because of it.
If Irvin can start hitting the 3 ball like he did as a freashmen and Robinson is as good from deep as advertised that will get this offense ticking agian. Threats from deep spreads the floor and opens up passing lanes.
Add to all of that getting Walton and LeVert (2 best players before getting hurt) back healthy, this is a VERY good team. This team took final 4 teams to OT without Walton and LeVert. Toss in Freashmen to Sophmore jumps for Doyle, MAAR, and Dawkins. Let not forget we have the best damn basketball coach in America....
On ATT we have the islanders but the red wings is blacked out....If a sport wants to be as popular football, basketball, or baseball it needs to stop blacking out their playoff games
Have you ever fought in a war? Have you ever been shot at? Have you ever watch those you care about get killed right in front of you? Ever woke up wondering if this is the your last day on earth and was never going to see those you loved back home again?
When you have been it tends to give you strong feelings of dislike for those your govenment choose for you to go fight. It's a mental make up you have to create and believe to your core that they are the worst people on earth. If you don't you won't shoot back. It's survial. You may not understand it and call him "Racist". Thats your right and I hold no hard feelings towards you for that. Unless you have been there you don't understand it. You can watch movies, read books, even get a PHD in History and you still won't have a full understanding of it. Movies and books don't create the fear and smells of war that those who have been there can't get out of their minds.
Mr. Kyle would even be ok with your beliefs and judgements towards him because he understands that what you never will. For those who have been there they are THANKFUL that you will never understand what they have been though. Now go sleep tight knowing someones on that fence so your safe.

Why in softball to they fake the bunt with 2 out? Is the rules different than baseball?
He was tired of being a point guard and now wants to be a shooting guard !!

Is it on anything other than BTNplus? It's not on front row sports either...

Drafted Evans and Shady McCoy...Damn my luck for week 1.
Bo worried about them every week in practice.
Michigan 42 OSUw 7.
Our Dline is going to have a HUGE game. OSUw OL next to PSU will be the worst we face all year...
Stating he can't wait for Rudddock to be 3rd string. Maybe I missed the joke.
You understand there was a JB who developed Burke Stauskas Hardaway Robinson. All were lower level recruits.
MgoWife is in SLC on business. Her company owns the old Olympic hotel/offices. She said there is an amazing amount of Michigan fans there....

All the others won NC's for Michigan and Bo has the most wins and a statue...
Coach- Yost
Defense- Woodson
QB- Brady
WR- Terrell
RB- Thomas
Yost, Woodson, Brady, and Thomas all won NC's at Michigan...Brady to Terrell reunited....

I'm at work at the FD here in Houston and we don't get BTN on the damn cable box...
It was a recruits father who happens to be a football coach as well.
