Anybody ever notice that Sullinger (aside from being a fat load) looks a lot like Dino from the Flintstones? |
| 2 years 8 weeks ago | Love the result |
Should not have taken that long. The jerseys however...sheesh. Adidas is just sucking everything in sight. |
| 2 years 9 weeks ago | The only thing I took notice of in that segment |
Was Lunardi's flopping double chin. This is why guys who can't run from one side of the gym to the other should not be telling the public how to pick games...bracketology fine, predictions not so much. |
| 2 years 10 weeks ago | We have struggled with teams |
Who are really big and/or those who shoot the 3 really well. Tennessee is not a huge team and they do not appear to shoot the ball well. They have some bad losses including College of Charleston, and Charlotte, and they were beaten by Oakland at home. I think we should be able to take care of business against them. If we get to Duke, that is another story. |
| 2 years 12 weeks ago | This is no different than recruiting Detroit kids. |
The story of Deshawn Sims and his brother really highlights how tough it is out there for a lot of kids trying to make something of themselves. |
| 2 years 12 weeks ago | By what metric? |
Not trying to start any poo throwing, but what about Berlin makes it so great? I would say Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, Prague, London, Vienna, and maybe even Madrid (in no particular order) come before Berlin. And of course there is Ann Arbor on a saturday in the fall. |
| 2 years 13 weeks ago | The worst part is |
We are playing really well right now (to a degree anyway), and this field is going to be filled with a bunch of teams less deserving than us. I thought Jim Jackson's comment that we could surprise some people if we got in was right on the money. I don't think that bracketologists should discount the early B1G schedule but we are not the same team we were a couple of months ago. |
| 2 years 13 weeks ago | Move! |
All these poor Ohio Wolverines, we got plenty of room. Come on over and enjoy the Great Lakes State. |
| 2 years 13 weeks ago | True, but Ondre Pipkins (DT out of Missouri) |
Knows Lamarr Woodley and some other MSU Saginaw guys (can't remember who he said, maybe Charles Rogers) from his time living there and cited that as a reason for his familiarity/excitement regarding UM and MSU. I was wondering if maybe Ross knows Allen, Gant, or Washington from around the way and they are in his ear. |
| 2 years 13 weeks ago | Is Ross Close with Dionte Allen? |
Another OLSM's kid who transferred to OSU from Florida State. Also they had Taurian Washington and Aaron Gant from OLSM as seniors this past season. Still, hearing shit like this makes me sick. I can't believe a kid from that close to Ann Arbor would be so excited about an OSU offer especially considering that Gant and Washington played so sparingly. The trend of high end Michigan talent looking to go out of state has got to right itself, I can't take it anymore. |

IMO or IMHO...we know it's your opinion, you just wrote it on a blog! |

Does your handle suggest that you were a Hokester from way back or did you some how change your name and keep your mgopoints? If if is the latter, how did you manage that? |
| 2 years 14 weeks ago | Slow's in Detroit is the best around |
There is also a place in Midland, Michigan called Bone Daddy's that has won some national awards. I will be off to Satchel's this afternoon as I have been eagerly awaiting their opening. |
| 2 years 14 weeks ago | It is under new management |
However it is not a super recent change |
| 2 years 15 weeks ago | On that note |
Isn't Wheatley the logical successor to Jackson when he hangs it up? |
| 2 years 15 weeks ago | I am not sure if it matters |
One way or the other but I saw the two of them together at Pizza House with Beilein and Burke is smaller and thinner than Brundidge by a noticeable margin. Brundidge is already built like a college player and will play for sure. I think Burke plays as well as the thing that both of them are good at (slashing and getting to the rim) are the perfect compliment to our bevy of shooters. They may not play a lot, but these guys are talented and will be hard to keep off the floor. |
| 2 years 15 weeks ago | For what it is worth |
My brother in law is in middle school (weird right) and he has played in some athletic competitions around/with (i'm not sure) Tyrone Wheatley's son who was/is also in middle school (Clague Middle School in Ann Arbor for the record) and apparently he is already a beast. So here is hoping he continues his development and becomes a Wolverine. It is possible that Tyrone took his son with him when he went to Syracuse. The point is he might be someone to look out for down the road. |

Theory might be correct, it is impossible to be ranked higher than overall #1 which is what Webber was coming out of high school. |
| 2 years 15 weeks ago | It was painfully apparent |
That the team was content to stand around and watch Morris try to create something a la the Manny Harris years. We won our last two games because we shot extremely well behind the arc and got some managable situations in the paint. OSU blew up our offense by getting out on our shooters and beating up our guys when they got in the lane. The nuts had a good game plan and played well but it was our youth and nerves that prevented us from staying with them when things started going south. Some of our guys just looked hesitant to make a play or even take a shot. We look solid and we should be able to beat them twice next year with their entire starting five gone (assuming the logical defections). Brundidge and Burke are the perfect compliments to the players we already have and if they can come in and contribute early we should be a very good team next year. |
| 2 years 16 weeks ago | I know Andre Criswell and he said |
That he may attempt a comeback to the team for one more shot. He had a serious shoulder injury that kept him from playing but it has since been fixed. He never got a chance to play because he kept changing positions and then got hurt. He is a massive and really well built guy. I don't know if he's still got it but he could provide some help at FB or TE if so needed. He is currently in Grad school and a very nice and polite guy so I hope not to see any negatives tossed around about him. |
| 2 years 16 weeks ago | Yes |
But at least he was nice enough to put that asterix in there so nobody could tell what he was trying to say. |

Their OT win vs Northwestern. |

Twin or not he should be out of the family. |
| 2 years 16 weeks ago | He is at it again |
Everytime I see a post from Michigania I get annoyed. You completely ignore that Gardner was invited to, and raved about, at the elite 11 camp. Additionally, you ignore his actual game experience, time in the weight room, and familiarity and trust he has gained with the other players in the locker room. Gardner is a stud. Hyping Bellomy is fine, but at the expense of Gardner, without basis is irresponsible if not ignorant. |
| 2 years 16 weeks ago | I like yours |
However I also like the simple Big Ten with the 12 on its side at the end (I believe it is in second place). The one that looks like the old Big Ten logo with a 12 in the middle is terrible. |

A quick glance places us 20th in terms of average star rating. Edit - Sorry for the redundant post.

I hate saying bad things about guys but Williams just looked lost everytime he was out on the field. |
