I say this all the time to my ND buddy. It’s not even that I have to sit through games that end up losses. It’s just so incredibly boring the way they lose. I’d still be upset if they lost 45-42 yesterday. But I’m certain it would have been more entertaining.
I don’t want to get into the same arguments that have been recycled dozens of times on the board lately... but where do you get “universally asymptomatic” from? Not the original article. You speak as if you know exactly what Is going on when I feel pretty darn sure that you are not linked, in any meaningful way, to the inner workings of either football program.
Cricket. The IPL starts September 19th and there are a string of matches between international sides between now and then. MGoBlog can turn an entire generation or two or three onto the game. No?
We take three hand-washing breaks a day now. I’ve taught them how to wash properly... but they’re kids. And I can’t go into the washrooms and inspect what they’re doing. So, I have to trust them. Elementary schools are Petri dishes. But I guess if this is how I go out... it’s better than about a million other ways to go that don’t involve hanging out with and teaching a bunch of cool kids.
We find out tomorrow if an 11-year old kid at the school I teach at has tested positive. Will be interested to see the response if, unfortunately, he (and his family) have contracted the virus.
As a teacher I feel like I have a unique vantage point on how quickly this could spread. Fingers crossed, for the kid. No panic, however.
3) Looking at the schedule, anything between 4-8 and 6-6. People like to rip on Rutgers and Illinois, but at this point it wouldn’t surprise me if they presented a real challenge to this UM squad.
Wow, man. You’ve now reached the point of claiming literally everyone on the board is wrong except for you? And this doesn’t throw up a big red flag for you regarding the quality of your argument(s)? You present yourself as someone so obstinate that engaging you in any meaningful way seems impossible.
England was the number one ranked ODI team coming into the WC. And, besides, I think the original comment had more to do with insane entertainment value and bucket loads of ups and downs as opposed to being a comment on world rankings and reputation.
The IPL is the premier domestic T20 league in the world at this point. Canada (Brampton, Ontario) hosts a T20 tounament starting July 25th. Lots of big names coming over to play. Many guys from the WC that just wrapped up. Should be some good cricket.
Ya. I’d say if you knew more about how the game works... you’d retract your statement. The final today was one of the greatest sporting events I’ve ever watched... regardless of sport. It was an incredible match.
All three are pretty phenomenal. Also just listened to the new release of The Who Live at The Fillmore East (1968). Pretty darn good. 30+ minutes of My Generation, however, might be a bit much.
I love this. As a teacher I can’t stand working alongside people who clearly couldn’t care less about the kids and spend all of their time figuring out how to climb the ladder to become shitty administrators.
Have heard so much about Bell’s that I’m dying to try it. Can’t get it in Canada without a bunch of back and forth. Visits home to Windsor have not resulted in crossing the border to pick some up. Michigan seems to have a ton of good breweries. Jealousy.
But if any of you can get your hand on some Collective Arts brews out of Hamilton, Ontario... I suggest it. Ransack the Universe is a good starting point.

Seems clear it’s a reply to the “vile leftists” comment. An equally political statement in itself.
This makes it clear that success hinges on the ability of UM’s WRs to set up with their hand in the dirt.

Your whining is unbearable.

What the fuck?
Whoa. Your thought process here is fu*ked.
Wow. So, can you tell who’s wrong or right? Are you a “greater health expert than either state”? You’re arguing against yourself here.
Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating! Best wishes to you and your entire family. Eat delicious food and be thankful and merry!
My issue with your original post was that you were basing your argument(s) on presuppositions that may or may not be justified.
So, you’re concerned because a public official is worried about public health despite what you assume “should” happen in the coming months?
One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest was the first thing that came to mind. Great book and movie.

Still, no panic.

Sounds about right. I guess I just see MD and IU as leans toward a loss.

There is a meal break. But I assume you’re thinking of Test Cricket. Those matches often last days.

I believe Australia is hosting the T20 WC next year. India hosts ICC WC in 2023.

His favourite Canadian territory, eh?
I only saw two Canada games on tv... versus Russia and Finland. They looked outclassed in both games.

Agree on Ross... not so much on Mercer.
It was targeting.
Why the f*ck would we want it?
Queen Elizabeth is not the “Queen of Canada”. The old vestiges of colonial rule are almost entirely symbolic.
Canada does not have a Queen.
No.

Just can’t see UM football visiting the 4th ranked FB team and beating them like this. But, who knows?
Pale Ale Project. Meh.
Watching other teams makes it even more apparent how far UM is from real success. These teams look like they'd beat UM by 40.
