I second this.

I second this.

Wish I had been with XW’s…

Be nice if they could start falling apart sometime soon.

It’s insane how they…

It’s insane how they continue to recruit after the last three years.

There is a 0% chance he…

There is a 0% chance he would do that if he thought another player would give him a better chance to win. That’s not who Harbaugh is.

Now all we need is the first…

Now all we need is the first new commit under his watch.

You don't remember that time…

You don't remember that time when Beilein hit a Purdue fan in the face with a folding chair WWE style? That was a game for the ages.

There was the year with DJP,…

There was the year with DJP, Nico, Black, and Oliver Martin. That was supposed to be the OSU level WR haul.

You get fired from your…

You get fired from your dream job running a company but about 10 years later they ask you back for a small manager job. You interested in that?

Seth, your name of Ole Miss…

Seth, your name of Ole Miss is the best one to call them. Losers indeed.

I wouldn't say, "We had our…

I wouldn't say, "We had our way with them." Michigan scored 30 points thanks to an int that put them on the 7-yard line and a pure magic throw by JJ to Wilson, then had to rely on making every fg.

There was a lot of punting in that game, including some real three and outs.

I hope that goes on my…

I hope that goes on my tombstone.

Whoaaa Nellie!

Whoaaa Nellie!

I was shocked an NFL…

I was shocked an NFL position coach would want to leave for a college position job. Seemed like a step back.

What do you mean both…

What do you mean both parties are responsible for where we are with gun violence? There has been one side looking to put laws in place to help reduce these incidents from happening, and one party wanting less restriction, while the SCOTUS ignored the first part of the 2nd Amendment.

What is a pamphlet by Thomas…

What is a pamphlet by Thomas Paine?

Just wait till he finds out…

Just wait till he finds out that Michigan won't spend $280k on a recruiting visit for one high schooler. /s

Crazy that Worthy is only…

Crazy that Worthy is only 172 lbs after three years in a college program.

Agree with this. I have the…

Agree with this. I have the same view of Harbaugh as he has of Michigan now. He no longer cares about the state of the team, I no longer care if he wins. Best of luck with his endeavors, but my lack of caring has no impact on his potential success.

I don’t care at all. Crowds…

I don’t care at all. Crowds are more sterile compared to great college atmosphere. I’m worried that after the last year of real college football, my interest in that will start dwindling to the level of caring I have for the NFL.

This 100%. It is insane to…

This 100%. It is insane to me that they are looking for regular people to donate money to put together a football team. Forget that. Just feels so wrong. We all know other schools are just tossing money at players. Just pay them with revenue money.

So he announced to the team…

So he announced to the team that he was staying and now he changed his mind? This cannot be real, right?

I get a clock radio, my…

I get a clock radio, my neighbor cannot afford. Great success!

Ha, no way. The dude doesn't…

Ha, no way. The dude doesn't want to deal with NIL, recruiting, and everything that is involved in college now. He just wants to coach.

Seemed like Chip was doing…

Seemed like Chip was doing everything he could to get an NFL OC job because he hates recurring so much. Maybe Day let him know that he could take this job and only focus on coaching football.

KKKKEEEEIIIITTTTHHHHHHHHHHHH…

KKKKEEEEIIIITTTTHHHHHHHHHHHH JJJJJJJJAAAACCCCCCKKKKKSSSSOOOONNNNNNN

Bummer

Bummer

It's a joke about losing out…

It's a joke about losing out on high school recruits.

What reactions are you…

What reactions are you seeing?

That would be an incredible…

That would be an incredible hire I'd think. With Minter gone and a few other key pieces gone, you'd have to assume that the defense will take a slight step back, so improving the offense some would be ideal.

Also, I just find it hard to believe that Michigan is going to somehow keep like seven of the current members of this coaching staff. We'll see if someone like Moorhead would be interested in working with Moore.

Where has this been said?…

Where has this been said? Anything public here?

I’m in the same boat but by…

I’m in the same boat but by two days…ugh I feel old being older than our coach now.

Alabama claims a national…

Alabama claims a national championship in a year that they finish 20th in the polls. I say Michigan should start claiming another title then.

I do because it gives me…

I do because it gives me something to do during the 1,000 commercial breaks per game. I can only go to the bathroom or get a new drink so many times during the game.

I love this sentiment, and…

I love this sentiment, and it is so true. Time flies by, and what feels like forever in the moment only lasts a short while.

I'm happy for him that he is…

I'm happy for him that he is getting a chance again to chase another one of his bucket list items, but I couldn't care less about the NFL or who wins the Super Bowl. My wife told me years ago that I cannot get sucked into caring about another team to the same level as Michigan because it's "just too much to deal with."

A douche nozzle says what?

A douche nozzle says what?

I don’t think he would’ve…

I don’t think he would’ve been run out of San Francisco had he won a Super Bowl there, let alone return to the college ranks

Who would you suggest? Are…

Who would you suggest? Are you willing to have current top talent leave because a new coach coming in?

I also think it’s worth not…

I also think it’s worth not underestimating the impact, a charismatic black head football coach will make regarding recruiting.

Exactly. NFL fans aren't…

Exactly. NFL fans aren't being asked to help front money for NFL salaries. I saw that someone was telling Bama fans that they should tithe 10% of their salaries to the football program. Just nuts.

Not like he can stop his job…

Not like he can stop his job if he doesn't have another. Lots of coaches are recruiting up to the moment they take another job.

The mods could close this…

The mods could close this thread, with how perfectly stated this was.

Yep. If going to the NFL,…

Yep. If going to the NFL, probably waiting to go with Jim.

Hasn't happened yet for them…

Hasn't happened yet for them. I feel like they are similar to prostitution and casinos: recession-proof.

I wondered about that too…

I wondered about that too but also was curious if a second round of interviews was a turnoff for Harbaugh. More so being like, you know what you're getting with him. Why would you need a second round interview? What else would that tell you?

I don’t think this is a good…

I don’t think this is a good take. Yes, it did work out this past season, but what were the odds of that? Recruiting has been on a downward trend recently and a huge part of that falls on Harbaugh and his NFL flirtation each year. He said he was done with it, clearly he’s not. What Michigan has done the last three years isn’t sustainable.

I will cherish the last three year of dominance fondly and always celebrate those 43 games. I just don’t see how they can keep being successful at a high level without a coach who wants to be here and figuring out how to get a few key top players each year.

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Yep, I agree with you here…

Yep, I agree with you here and wonder how much of a fan I'll be in five years. It's going from traditional college athletics to football, mixed with reality tv.

I’d have to guess they’re…

I’d have to guess they’re the favorite to win the national championship next year. If Day cannot beat Michigan and get to the title game (have it be at least close) I don’t know how he keeps a job next year. They are going to be pretty stacked next year but not totally sold on the qb.

Yeah, but recruiting is more…

Yeah, but recruiting is more of a mess now than it was when Harbaugh was hired at Michigan. I think that has to be one of the biggest benefits of coaching in the NFL over college.
