Denard and Brady are loved by the majority, if not all, Michigan fans.  The Fab 5 draw mixed responses from Michigan fans.  

I think Webber played this situation right, he was there to support the team and let everyone know he was there just not in a very over the top way.  The other four, they obviously showed their support by being there, but i think the way Jalen went out to publicly call for a reunion through the media is why prople are upset.  Jalen could have simply emailed, called, texted, etc all Fab 5 members and said lets get back together to show support for the team.  

Regardless, i am happy to see the Fab 5 were there to support the team.

I have seen the goalie drop the ball behind them on a clear. That always make me drop my head as a coach.

No communication from the defense right there. For those unfamiliar with lacrosse, without defensive communication a defense will fail most of the time.

Crazy that even though I have been around the sport for over a decade there are still things i have never came across or seen happen before.

The coaching search was the first main reason i ever checked on the site, plus Time posted about Michigan lacrosse even when they were club (since then he started his own blog greatlaxstate.com).  Kept on coming back, never really have been a heavy poster on topics but the reading is great and the threads produce some of the funniest things i have ever read on the internet.  Plus the personalities on here are great, still one of my favorites of all time is KOB.

I just started last week from the start. I just finished disc one of season two (Carl is getting better on the farm and Sophia is still missing) and this show is crazing addicting. I always laughed it off when people said this but damn they were right.

I will finish season two this week. Is there a website that has all of season three on it.

I hate Chicago, but i do feel for their fans to not get at least one other Original 6 team in the entire conference.

rumors being spread by other coaches was the general opinion.

We as fans are part of the problem. It could even be argued that fans are the root of all of the issues with college football. We follow the recruiting, we buy the merchandise, we buy the tickets, we pay for the cable subscriptions, and we hype this sport beyond any level as it has seen before. Granted we are not the only part of this problem as everyone involved shares the blame. This is not the first time it has been said but college football is just a money grab and until that culture is changed we will continue to see these problems arise.



I honestly don't see college football ever taking a step back and therefore I think people are right in the idea that college football eventually may turn into a depressing 30 for 30 story.

When i played lacrosse in HS, i loved when we would walk out of the locker room/off the bus in two single file lines onto the field for our warm-ups.  The sound of all of the cleats clicking off the cement floor was awesome.

My wife is currently 20 weeks with twins (boy and girl as well). We live in Toledo so ours won't grow up in such hostile territory.

Kid is a douche but he drive opponents nuts trying to go one on one with him. Plus we provides just enough offense to piss me off.

I thought it was strange when someone at work recommended drinking it straight but I was impressed at how good it tasted by itself.

Strong but I really like it. I drink it with a few ice cubes just to tame it down a bit. I have had it with coke and that got me drunk pretty fast. I would recommend it.

I will keep your family and Hunny in my thoughts tonight and this week. It is crazy how much pets become a part of the family. It is so gut wrenching anytime a pet is hurt or sick. Again good luck and stay strong.

Just the idea that any school can realistically make the commitment to get the the top tier to be a football power. Of course they would have to make the financial commitment first and then grow the program.

Being recruited by some if the most historic football programs in the country wouldn't be. Don't be a dick, the kid didn't want to be at Michigan so that is the end of it. I hope he graduates and plays an injury free career, at least serious injury as minor injuries always happen.



By the way, the historic programs was just a reference to Michigan and Oklahoma. Ole miss and Oklahoma state both are we're lacking in comparison in that department.

Guy at work said it was great. He lied. Isn't the worst I have had but I would have preferred the regular over this.

I think Brown may now just be coached by better defensive coaches. He obviously always had the talent but was utilities correctly by GERG.

This lockout is a fucking joke. The NHL is taking all the right steps to remain the fourth sport in the US. The popularity was growing and the money was growing. So what do they do, fuck up the progress and momentum.

My existing family, my wife is pregnant with two future wolverines and I get to see my sister who is coming in from New Jersey.

Ranked around 20 still.

No i think it shows how little defense the conference has.

I was walking out the stadium towards the bridge and saw a man and woman walking with Roundtree uniforms (name included).  I figured they had to be family due to the NCAA rules about names and numbers on uniforms.  One of the guys with me mentioned to them about how great he played today and asked if they were related, they were his parents.  They said they couldn't be more proud of his play and are still living the ND catch from last year.  So we congratulated them on their son's performance today and went on our way.  

Just kind of a cool moment to see the pride in their faces after their son caught one of the most important catches this season.

One lacrosse is a spring sport, so they aren't interfering with football.  Second, The Big House is field turf so lacrosse won't destroy the field like if it was grass.  Third, these kidas get to play in the one of the largest stadiums in the world for a lacrosse game.  For those of us that played lacrosse in high school and college, we were lucky to get a few hundred people at our games.  These kids will get to play in front of thousands, great experience for them.

I will be the first to say that football is more than a sport. However, there is a line that shouldn't be crossed and state is doing that (at least those participating in that thread).
