Dont really agree with your first point at all since I think he was coming off injury at the time but I do think current players or captains (are any around now?) should be consulted before deciding to let him back. Obv can ask Biff why he left but likely personal reasons. In my mind he would be a depth piece at this point of his career / have a shot to compete.

I think the straw that will break the camels back is the unlimited transfers. Most ant-Nick commenters ignore this but having to retain and fight for literally EVERY good player on your roster year after year is unsustainable. Complex schemes like M Defense runs and power O will fall by the wayside due to the turnover creating critical loss of experience and continuity. Imagine potential damage done by grabbing a key player off a rival … just see NFL free agency this week. With no strong changes it is an inevitable, relentless drive to the bottom $$$. Some players will benefit financially no doubt but the product quality will inevitably suffer with the high turnover and transient nature of it. Why does Nick speak? He is the only authoritative voice that is possible. No high profile NCAA FB coach can speak honestly due to risk of alienating future and current players.
My prediction will be around 15 … that being the number of inane threads like this about JJ and the draft between now and, you know, the actual draft.

Especially with the heart situation and Sanderson blow-up. Going one more year and seeing what happens should avoid that. Like others have said there WILL need to be changes made to staff at least. No idea on recruiting / roster construction sides.

Assume you mean not run on 2nd and 5. Few times SF was ready for the blitz really shut shut them down. Andy Reid called a brilliant game and was ready for blitz seeming every time late in the game. For SF it was a down on fire.
