Seeing as Cal is not as much of a powerhouse state as Fl and it isnt really a state with as many spread players that we would want. Lastly USC, Cal, Oregon, and maybe Utah will draw in a ton plus other national powers.
that Kentucky Basketball is currently in the top 5 Michigan Football is not. That was not a good comparison by the OP I would probably say more along the lines of UCLA Basketball and U of M Football. Both historic programs and struggling recently.
1st pick- Ndamukong Suh
33rd pick- BG (wishful thinking that he'll still be there but that would be great if he was and the lions got him. It might actually make me want to watch a full lions game.)
just because we now have new spots that does not mean that 5*'s would jump aboard. The only factor that would change is immediate playing time which in that case 5*'s are expected to be above 3 and 4*'s. This thread is the stupidest of MGoBlog ever. And why in hell would you be excited about looking at our new board? It would actually depress me. So I must go with the conclusion that you suffer from a terrible disease and you take several types of illegal drugs making you completely irrational.
the bottom line is-
OUR CLASS WOULD BE WORSE NOT IMPROVED!
Clark- Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is! Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where's the Tylenol?
Do you even know why they call it "The Blind Side"? It's because the LT, Michael Oher, protects the Quarterback's blind side.
P.S. Not trying to be mean just sayin'
yes, I realize that this system probably won't win Michigan a National Championship. However it will make Michigan relevant again which is all I was trying to prove.
In order for me to explain all of the reasons why I and many of the MGoBlog community disagree with you would take several lifetimes. But let's start with one, this is the system that took every team that Beilein has taken it to has succeeded. Canisius, Richmond, WVU, and Michigan. So you are telling me that the system sucks. How about next time you do a little digging for some Beilein stats in the past.
Yeah, except that Michigan is using a true freshman PG and usually some rough spots are expected. However we have one of the most hard working teams in the country but this isn't because of Beilein, right? Just stop talking your arguments are invalid and hold no water.
And I bet you were loving it when we beat both UCLA, Duke, and when we were in it with Oklahoma. But of course none of these games have anything to do with coaching, right?
To bad we're playing the best team in the country with one of the best defenses in the country and one of the best offenses and and a few of the best players in the country and one of the best coaches in the country and we aren't even getting blown out of the sky as much as most of us expected. Yeah I know Beilein sucks right.
