I used to get in internet fights for internet clout on internet sites back in the late 2000s/early 2010s, usually after a Michigan loss and many, many beers. The next day I'd wake up, see my posts, and realize it was unnecessary anger toward a random person I'd never meet. Plus around the time of Harbaugh I found me a lovely lady that kept me away from said internet fights, so I became a mere lurker, which was better for my mentals from 2014 through 2020.
I couldn't help but log back on to show my appreciation to not only the team, but also the current (and former) staff of this site, as it's been my go-to site for years. I'm gonna ride this high for years, no joke.
I've been on this lovely website for around 15 years, mostly creeping, rarely posting. At times it seemed like a recap post of this magnitude would never come.
Man am I glad to see it finally come. Champions. Savoring every morsel.

I'm actually in a bit of a depression about this topic. Grew up in NW Ohio, lived in Dayton for 10 years, but got out and moved to the DC area, and have lived here for almost 8 years. My wife recently got the urge to move back to Columbus, closer to where her parents are living, so we bought a house and are moving there within the month. I'm already dreading all the insane OSU fans I'm going to be living amongst, along with having less fun things to do locally compared to DC. But hey, property ownership and lower cost of living, etc. Post-pandemic, I'm gonna need to find the right Michigan bars in Columbus to go to for games.
Right next to the Grand Wailea is the Andaz Maui Resort, and there's a restaurant there called the Ka'ana Kitchen that had such an incredible brunch (at $50/person excluding alcohol), but had similar items: fresh fruit, juices, omelet bar, etc., and they had a great gluten-free section for my Celiac wife. I still dream about that brunch weekly.
Does anyone that attended the game remember the ultra-hd 360 photo they took either before the game or at halftime? It was one where, if you were in view of the camera, you could zoom in and hopefully find a quasi-clear photo of yourself in the stands? If so, is it still posted somewhere?
Not sure if it's even posted anymore, but would be cool to look back and see that again. I know I saw myself and 3 or 4 friends I was with at the time, but over the years I've met others that were at that game, so it would be cool to find them.
As a Wright St. alum, I would've liked to ask him "WHY COULDN'T YOU GET THEM TO THE NCAA TOURNEY JUST ONCE?!?" I have so little to cheer for as a WSU alum, making the NCAA tourney would be like the Browns getting to the playoffs...we'd just happy to be there, we'd lose, but we'd be happy to be there!
I spent most of my football Saturdays at the Bdubs in Beavercreek from 2007-2012, before I moved to DC at the end of 2012. Only once was I hassled by Buckeye fans, which was at the end of The Game in 2011, but my drunk friend was part of the problem. Beyond that though, it was fine. One day, he asked me to sit next to him and another kid in the back of the bus, and his friend held my arms back while Ben punched me in the stomach. True story.
2.) I ran into Tommy Davidson (from In Living Color fame) at a bar in Dayton. I told him that he was awesome in the movie "Booty Call". He said "that was my favorite movie ever to do". I was joking, he was not.
3.) Scott Parker, who was on the Colorado Avalanche squad back in the early 2000's, was best friends with a guy my sister was dating. I went to his condo. He was a big guy, hence him being the fighter on the team. He was fairly nice though.
4.) I met Scott Ian & one of the guitarists (both in the band Anthrax) at a bar in Columbus a month or so ago. Scott was okay, the guitarist was kind of a d-bag.
Does anyone know where I can find the audio from the Notre Dame broadcast of the 2011 UTL game where the ND radio announcers were saying how Denard was a "poor thrower" and weren't giving him much of a chance, just before he hit Gallon for the huge gain? The sound of the ND radio broadcasters getting the wind taken out of their sails is priceless. I can't seem to find it on the Googles or the Youtubes. Can anyone help?
I'm headed to Hemlock Lake near Reading, MI. Is anyone familiar with that lake? I've visited there with lifelong friends for years, so I have a weekend full of binge drinking, golf, and drunk kayaking to fill my time. I also have 2 kegs of Yuengling to polish off by Monday afternoon (Yuengling chosen over Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Beast).
I took a half-day vacation to drink beer, eat fish (actual fish, perverts), and eat more fish (for the perverts). I have to prep for a friend's bachelor party in Columbus tomorrow, can't wait to reasonably discuss why Michigan is better than Ohio to the locals.
I feel bad for Brady Hoke in these late game scenarios, because if he doesn't eat until the game is over, I'm sure he'll be a hungry dude on Saturdays this fall.

He is finishing up school and can transfer without sitting out, so could provide some depth off the bench. He's also considering going pro in Europe, but am hoping for a transfer to Michigan. I don't blame him for leaving Wright State, they are a very young team that I don't see being tops in the Horizon League next year (even though Butler is leaving).

Don Q Puerto Rican Rum. Bought in Puerto Rico for my brother's wedding. The locals said it couldn't be found in the states, so I stocked up. When I go to a liquor store here in Dayton, I can't help but notice Don Q on the shelf. Damn Puerto Rican locals.
The Hofbrauhaus in Newport, KY (on the other side of the river) is a great time, I visit there regularly. It's a big German restaurant/bar, where dancing on the seats is encouraged.
In downtown Cincy, there is a tiny Irish bar called O'Malley's in the Alley, it is a few blocks north of the baseball stadium, but I'm unsure of which alley it is between.
Mongtomery Inn is a great BBQ restaurant, and in one of the locations there is a huge Michigan flag in the entrance signed by Bo himself.
