Also the 50% increased computing power under the good. Don't forget about that.

I bet nobody is even going to give Brian credit for the reverse jinx after a win on Saturday.

Does anyone know how jerseys are selling in Ohio these days?

Well then it's definitely not going to stop.
But it *is* stealing and I think it sucks.

...how Rivals paywalled content can just come straight over here.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Hey, Dom (and apparently MGoManBall)...||
you basically heap all of the blame on borges, even though they have a line that can't block, backs that can't hit a hole or pick up a blitz, a qb that locks on one receiver, throws ill advised passes and bails the pocket too quickly and receivers that can't get open and don't come back to the qb when he is scrambling.
Who do you think is accountable for the line being able to block, backs hitting a hole or picking up a blitz, QBs not locking on to one receiver, throwing ill-advised passes, or bailing out of the pocket too quickly, receivers getting open, coming back to the QB when he is scrambling, etc?
Oh, that's right...the OC is in charge of player development in addition to calling plays. So your point is..... ?

Yeah.......I strongly disagree with you. I appreciate Brandon's post and find value in it. So next time, just feel free not to read.

Actually, I take it all back...my guess is you can't walk and chew gum at the same time. For you...this makes sense. Just feel free not to impose it on others.

Did you just uncover the answer to everything?? Scissors that are so physical, they beat rock AND paper??
BOOM! Nailed it!

I don't follow this quite closely enough to know who Plan A was, but my understanding is that Blackmon and Booker are Kentucky's Plan B/C. Doesn't make it any better, but there it is.

Key word: "minimum"
He's saying at WORST we're still beating Ohio sometimes (unlike the 2000s).
|6 weeks 4 days ago||I disagree heavily with one point of Adam's premise...||
Due to the fact that we scored a TD on the drive, Gallon's aforementioned drop near the end of the second quarter did us a favor. Does anyone think Indiana wouldn't have scored a TD instead of FG at the end of the half with more time?
To Adam's point, I think you have to look at the turnovers. In fact, our team has been really proficient at not just turning over the ball, but turning it over in really high leverage spots (i.e. that either directly lead to points for the other team or directly take points off the board for us). Change those types of turnovers and Akron, UConn, and Indiana all look much different.

|8 weeks 3 days ago||For the "Rich Rod needs to stop talking about Michigan" crowd...||
I would agree if he was finding any and every possible soapbox to get on top of to talk about Michigan (like if he was still talking about "eating the cookies he baked" and what not), but he's simply not. I mean, do you ever in your life talk about a job you used to have but don't any more? Or something else that happened to you in the past? You probably do. He's human, it was part of his life, he's going to mention it every once in a while, particularly when asked and particularly because he's in the media on a constant basis.
Let's look at it this way: how about YOU stop talking about guys that used to coach at Michigan but don't any more? Isn't that the same exact thing, but instead of putting the responsibility on someone else, you man up and take on the responsibility yourself?
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Actually, no.||
"Stood up" isn't the exact right term either, but he basically rescheduled his official to Michigan after it had all been planned and other recruits had been turned away for that weekend in order to visit UCLA.
I'd be surprised if we got back in.

Then don't let your kids do it?
I'm sure there could be negative consequences, but I'm sure Brian will hold himself and his staff to high standards in the conduct with and presentation of these kids. In light of that, he's made a rule for himself (that is an important part of the business he runs). I'm surprised that's surprising to you. I mean, there are "potential negative consequences" to driving a car, or drinking beer, but you probably don't have moral qualms about those things. Brian can't control what everyone else does on the subject.

|10 weeks 6 days ago||What you said was You know||
What you said was
You know what else you had in 1993? A basketball team worth watching.
And what I said was, by not specifying, you were lumping all the teams together. I think the vast response to your message is proof that you did not make your point well, which is how I entered this discussion.
|10 weeks 6 days ago||That's actually not true...in||
That's actually not true...in this particular thread, you haven't given very many facts at all. You've simply reiterated your opinion (about fifteen different ways) that the team has been bad, thus the students are right not to show up. You would have gone miles farther in my mind had you not called last year's product unworthy of watching (which you were guilty of by not specifying that you were referring to teams five years ago). Besides all the preseason accolades, that team was simply damn fun to watch. In fact, national pundits raved about the quality of basketball on the floor in the national championship game, and that was the same team we saw on the court all season save for a short stretch at the end of the season. You are going to come back and say "but students couldn't have predicted that" but that's not the point.....we're talking about students with season tickets in hand last year that didn't show up, not those that chose not to buy them. Those students saw the most entertaining team in the country and still decided not to show up.
Now all that said....I happen to be on the side of students in general. What would make me livid if I were a student is that the rules changed AFTER most had bought their tickets (in a similar vein, I think they should have staged in GA for football over four years so that nobody had to forfeit any seniority they earned under prior rules). Going forward, the system is what it is and students should have the ability to choose to buy or not buy....but the AD has done them wrong for the way in which they're going about this, and it's going to come home to roost with a "lost generation" of alums if they're not careful.

This. I'm an "old alum" that actually happens to be on the students' side for the most part, but this blog post actually decreases my sympathy. The worst part was complaining about the FREE donuts that Hoke PERSONALLY DELIVERED. Entitled much?

Just call them at 1-800-DIRECTV.
If I'm going to pay $25, I'd rather do it at the bar and get some beer and food for it!
|11 weeks 3 days ago||I envy you...||
I just spent over 30 mins on the phone with DirecTV and nobody I talked to can figure out how to get at 396 from any regional sports package or any other way unless I lived on the east coast AND did NOT have access to my own local channels.
GamePlan day package is available...for $25. Not worth it.
