2 days 8 hours ago	A thought...	Given the deck will be reshuffled again in 2016 with the 9-game conference schedule, let's hope the MSU/Ohio thing is just a two year anomoly, and that we'll end up hosting Sparty two years in a row to get it back to having one at home each year.

3 weeks 4 days ago	I had a probably similar reaction...	...to Brian's two lineup scenarios.  Even in a tallball world where McGary starts at the 4 and GRIII the 3, that doesn't mean that we won't play *some* minutes with them at the 5 and 4 respectively.  So I think the actual miniutes will be somewhere in between those two options.

8 weeks 4 days ago	Apparel...	...is a fair point.  You are right. I was referring strictly to blog posts, which I view as receiving a positive externality from the athletes (akin to covering the mayor), but not actually exploiting them.
8 weeks 4 days ago	Here's an aspect I haven't seen mentioned...	I thought one of the key underpinnings of the four superconferences system was that the superconferences would split from the NCAA into an ultra league, which would then enable the paying of players because the Indiana States of the world wouldn't be there to object.  I guess this is not the case?  Does Delaney's response indicate anything about the grand vision (or lack thereof) of the realignment race?
8 weeks 4 days ago	Your assertion assumes that...	...people getting paid to be ADs don't also make mistakes along the lines of Brian's wanting to keep RR a fourth year (which I don't believe is even an entirely accurate characterization by the time the decision was taken - all hail the Process - but point taken). I also don't believe that Brian's income is exploitative of the athletes, but that could be open for rigorous debate.   I do agree with your last point, though I'd make the funds available only after eligibility has been exhausted, for things like health insurance and maybe a small pension depending on the size of the pot.

(1)  In reference to the risk-reward ratio of Burke going against a strong perimeter defender at the end of regulation, you may have missed that Michigan actually got a switch and Thomas was on Burke.  Trey really needed to get into the lane and at a minimum draw a foul there (MIchigan was in the bonus).  That was my issue with the 1-4, not the set itself. (2)  In reference to Burke's soundtrack, this article may in fact validate Vivaldi AND Bombs Over Baghdad.

17 weeks 3 days ago	To be fair...	...it sounds like the effort level of the seniors SHOULD be called out.  Should maybe come from the, you know, coaches instead of the freshmen...but it could actually be that those freshmen are the most noble characters in this dumpster fire.
