scrolled down to see if anyone mentioned Jai Eugene and here it is. Seconded.

I was in Lincoln for the Denard injury/Russell Bellomy fiasco in 2012. As I was walking out, they shared condolences for Denard and that it would have been a better game if he was healthy. No gloating in the immediate area around me. They were annoyingly nice.

Every fanbase has delusional layer. The internet makes them more visible and overrepresented. I still hold Nebraska fans in general in high regard.

This would make it his 8th job in 10 years. I'm not surprised.

I understand your point. To have credibility as a ministry/business/person, you have to have some track record of success and Pike doesn't have that yet. However, like the article mentioned, this is a way of him keeping accountabilty for himself too, so this might be exactly what he needs to do for himself and help others at the same time. He has to start somehwere and I applaud him for finding purpose.

1. Michigan 100%
2. Alabama 86%
3. Ohio State 83%
4. Washington 71%
Sorry, I couldn't pick against Michigan. The data made the teams recognizable and I couldn't pick against my team!

Peppers was playing 3 ways. He ran the read option in high school, so I can understand limiting to what he's used to. You can only do so much with the limited 20 practice hours in a week.

If it works out on Saturday, add Maryland as one of the things to be thankful for this week. If it wasn't for Maryland, Don Brown wouldn't be here.

Devin Gardner would have flourished and would have won the QB competition, therefore better preparing Denard to be an NFL RB.

i think you missed my point. even though the numbers say Michigan was going to win, games like 2001 give us the easy feeling, backed up by the percentages or not.

The 2001 game taught us what Sparty could pull outside the expected norms to steal the game in that stadium. Throw out the records and the numbers - it's a rivalry.

Root hard for a Nebraska or MSU win over OSU. This combined with Michigan taking care of the next three games, Michigan will roll into Columbus already having clinched the division. In this scenerio, Michigan can lose to Ohio State and still have a chance to make it to the playoffs.

As an alumnus who didn't grow up in Michigan nor lived there outside of my college years, I don't hate Michigan State. I couldn't care less about them which is easy since I don't come across many State fans. The inferiority complex drives their hate toward us which I find amusing most of the time.
I do have relatives who are State alums and grew up in Ann Arbor. They NEVER trash talk about MSU sports. I believe because they know Michigan is superior and don't partake in that complex.

I believe I was the first to deduce that on my own and comment on it. My very terse point was that Michigan has taken over the lead for overall percentage, so it's worth using the latest data as we are all proud of it.

OP should make a note that the last table is out of date. It has ND's win percentage higher than M's. It's worth it to provide the most up to date data.

Not a big deal. The Game won't be televised in prime time anyways. Gameday needs Michigan/OSU more than the other way around.
|17 weeks 4 days ago||Agree with this||
Agree with this sentiment.
The end goal is not media hype for The Game or to rise up in the rankings (#2 will be highest unless Alabama loses). The goal is to win each and every game and the PSU film should expose game plan options for the coaching staff against a talented, but young Buckeye team.

Denard was never going to be an NFL QB. He didn't even complete 50% of his passes in high school. His passing stats in college was achieved because of the threat of the run game. Denard's long passes were bubble screens with big YAC or jump balls to Roundtree.
But the OP's question is just bad. Denard was an extremely successful college QB who was never going to be an NFL QB. As a NFL RB, considering the average career is 3.11 years, he's doing better than average.
