| 1 year 1 week ago | There have been several, most |
There have been several, most of mine have already been mentioned and I realize how lucky I am to have been at so many of the previous posted games.
The earliest truly nutso win I remember being there for was when Phil Brabb's kicked the game winner at the end to beat Washington. I was in the end zone row 6 and felt like I could have caught the ball if the net handn't been raised. I was jumping up and down hugging some guy next to me before I realized my Dad had been siting on the OTHER side of me. The guy hugged back, it was weird, in retrosepct. |
| 1 year 7 weeks ago | There is no such streak |
Two years ago they gave away tickets to the Event Staff so that they could invite family to see UMass. That game was no a sellout. The only streak alive is that of games with over 100,000 in attandence. I don't think there is any danger in that ending any time soon. |

Quite Stupid. |
| 1 year 17 weeks ago | I'm a little disappointed |
In the UM coach just sitting down. He comes off better probably the way he handled it, but part of me wanted him to say, "You had your chance to talk little brother, now please respect my time to talk and don't interrupt me again." |
| 1 year 28 weeks ago | AND on the ONE non TD play |
He made the right decision and threw it away rather than force a play that wasn't there on first down. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | For the nearly 40 crowd. |
I knew facepalm guy, facepalm guy was a friend of mine. . . And Senator . . . You're NO facepalm guy. |
| 1 year 30 weeks ago | It's a common misconception |
But there isn't a league I can think of that uses divisional record first in determining standings. It also doesn't really make sense to me. If the Tigers were 72-90 overall, 62-10 in thier division, and 10-80 against other divisions I don't think they should be considered divisional champs and make the playoffs. MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL all use overall record to seed within division, then use head to head record to break a tie, then use divisional record if head to head is a tie. I would like somone to name a league of any sport that uses division record first, maybe some HS FB Conferences? I'm just curios where the idea comes from, I fell for it myself until I thought about it just a little. |
| 1 year 33 weeks ago | I don't understand where you are coming from |
I like the song, I liked it before I knew that this song was the song that was being treated is if it was awful around here. I don't think I agree with a single sentance in your post, and I will gladly take your house in the bet, mine sucks. The closest I can get to not disagreeing is that I don't know if the band is terible or good, I just like the only song that I heard by them. I suppose it is just a matter of taste, like a preference in flavor of ice cream |

I enjoyed reading it, I like emo / rah rah sometimes too. |
| 1 year 38 weeks ago | Iowa 2003 |
The only B1G away game I made it to was Iowa 2003. Every play regardless of outcome or controversy was replayed, it was also "brought to you by . . . " mostly the local paper, grocery store, or TV news team. Seriously I was hit over the head with how many sponserships and ads there were, everywhere. But they never missed a replay that I can recall, though I'm sure I didn't look up every time. It used to be SOP that controversial calls were never replayed at UM to try to avoid fans getting too worked up. That has been over for a few years now though. |
| 1 year 39 weeks ago | Sounds like fun |
I'm in, but am I allowed to make more than one entry? I assume I would have to choose a different user name, I just did one for the moment. I went with a system assuming that Michigan will win all 12 games so I didn't pick any team we are scheduled to play, although I'm probably way too heavy on SEC where we could see one of them in a bowl. A. Bama B. OK State C. Ark D. Miss State E. Fla Unranked: Michigan |

That last subject ended with the word competition not the letter y, but i still have an image in my head I don't want. |
| 1 year 40 weeks ago | I agree |
It's simply a matter of taste, but I think the split M will never be topped. At least I still have mine in my man cave. |
| 1 year 49 weeks ago | Very nice |
I always just thought of the last rule but in the back of my mind I knew that it wasn't quite enough. This has good conditions to have it faze out as you age and hit different life milestones. |
| 1 year 49 weeks ago | They work in harmony |
Not conflicting, if any of the 4 rules applies you are out of bounds
|
| 1 year 49 weeks ago | Not quite as old |
I'm out of players older than me since Chelios retired, but I still have my Terry Sawchuck #1 I got for my 30th birthday I wear only to the occasional Wings game. I'm 41 years, 7 hours, 47 minutes old. |
| 2 years 2 days ago | Absolutely |
We have to make this happen somehow. If Lex Luther can get rid of California we should be able to find a way. |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | Im not convinced the billlboard was ours |
There is no history of any Michigan fan purchasing billboard for taunting purposes. MSU does have such a history. It was MSU that was kept from a BCS game and they bought billboards to demonatrate thier frustration that Wisconson was in the Rose Bowl when MSU had beaten Wisconsin. I think this was an MSU fan that thinks they got jipped out of the Rose bowl by Tressel's use of ineligible players. I don't suppose there is any way to find out, but I really want to know or certain who did this. 1) if it is a UM fan, to admonish that person, 2) to clear our fandom reputation if it is not. |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | Excellent |
and I hope the expand it by another 1,000 when the add the 6,000 seats. Its all about the students, none should be denied. I would like it if they sold to every student first before they ever sold any tickets to anyone else. |
| 2 years 6 weeks ago | I don't agree it was sensible. |
Yes hindsight is 20/20 but the day of that draft my thought wasn't that it was a sensible pick but that it was a high risk / high reward pick, and most of those don't yeuild the reward. I had thought Anthony would be the pick, and I'm not convinced Bosh is all that great even to this day. Best thought I could come up with that day was, "I hope Joe Dumars knows something I don't, he should after all." I'm certainly know expert but I preferred the known Anthony whom we could see had talent vs the unknown skethcy highlight reel of Darko. Also, all we really gave up to get that pick was Otis Thorpe, then we had to wait a few years as the picks each year were high enough to be protected. In this draff only the #1 pick was protected that would have had us wait 1 more year, so there was no way the Pistons could get Lebron. So the high risk really, we didn't have much on the line that we paid for that chance and that balanced out the risk some. |
| 2 years 10 weeks ago | Yes take that hat off . . . |
. . . At the neck. |
| 2 years 11 weeks ago | Can't argue with a true statement |
I only wonder why he backed off from it. I agree 100%. That's what I've been saying to the arrogant Sparties about thier first shared Big Ten football championship in 20 years.
OH
and I mean it disrespectully. |
| 2 years 18 weeks ago | Whats creepy about liking sexy women? |
I'm sure when I'm 100 I'll still think college girls are sexy and I will like looking at them. I don't care who thinks its creepy, it's normal. Creepy would be if you said that about a picture of a Kindergarden. |
| 2 years 22 weeks ago | The Big East has nothing to prove |
because they have already proven they are not very good at football. The 6th place Big Ten team thumped thier conference champ. I think the Big East and ACC have proven its time to stop having automatic qualifiers. |
| 2 years 23 weeks ago | Every 4 years |
is the most common rumor I've heard, to try to keep it special and to use in recruiting, if you play for UM Hockey for 4 years you will get to do this once.

| 2 years 24 weeks ago | Ploy |
I figured that was just a nerdy way to have "Lets Make Some Noise" and they would trot it out every so often. |
| 2 years 24 weeks ago | There is nothing he can do |
No matter what Rich Rod Says or does he will be bashed by the bashers that are making thier entire living solely on bashing him. If Brandon keeps him, he could go 11-1 and they will continue to bash him after every press conference and call for his head on the chopping block after the one loss. The only chance, and its probably not possible, is to stop listening to the bash. 97.1 is no longer a preset in my cars. |
| 2 years 24 weeks ago | He is also a Senior now |
Rich Rod did not have this season's Steven Threet to deploy, correclty or incorrectly. He also, still, is not all that good. In 2008 while being incorrectly deployed he threw 9 TD's against 7 Interceptions while sharing time. This year while being correctly deployed and playing every game (but leaving the last game early with injury) he threw 19 TDs against 16 interceptions. I don't see any big difference there, just more playing time. Perhaps he did not do as well as he would have if RR had adapted to him more, but maybe he also wasn't as motivated as he could have been due to transferring here to play in a pro style system and then haveing the pro style coach retire while waiting for the NCAA to let him back on the field. |
| 2 years 24 weeks ago | I think I see the same thing |
I agree so if its not there then we both are seeing things. |
| 2 years 25 weeks ago | Thats not the way I view arogance |
If you earned the right to talk, you aren't arrogant. You must not have earned it if you are arrogant. |
