I appreciate your post

and I am a supporter of whoever the coach is at Michigan, but really "you're shocked" by what people are saying about RR? The dude has four Big Ten wins in two and a half seasons, winless against our two biggest rivals, ncaa violations, constant defections and constant negative press. To the rest of the nation it's a shock that we haven't fired him yet. After almost three years of the same criticism week in and week out nothing should shock us. Demanding fans are going to be demanding fans.

Auburn-LSU

will be fun next weekend.

Hopefully NW beats State to put an end to their rise. Fitzgerald is a good coach and the 'Cats are feisty. PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE

We need a

clear-cut LEADER in charge of special teams.  Leadership isn't just a word or some abstract notion, it can be employed.  The problem is most people aren't leaders, especially young kids nowadays, so the fact that we've got players coaching and attempting to lead themselves is a concern.

We need one coach who can devote all of his time, energy, and leadership skills to special teams, a coach who recognizes the problem and focuses on the solution, who will stand up and say, "I've had enough of this. We're going to fix this and make it right and we're no longer going to be a detriment to the team, we're going to be the reason we win games. And if we fail, it's on me."

The talent is there, but the talent can't lead itself.

Miss. St. @ Vandy Nothin quite like two SEC bottom-dwellers battling it out in Nashville (at night, mind you) in an attempt to prove their conference's parity-driven superiority. The Bulldogs are fresh off a 25 point beatdown at the hands of Auburn and Vandy limps in after a 9 point explosion against The Hat. The quality here is just astounding. Just think about how pumped one of these fanbases is gonna be after this game.
I sincerely hope not. But I do recall the last time we had a small, corner picture like that on SI was after the ND game in 2003 (pic of Chris Perry) and obviously we went on to lose to Oregon the next game. And then after Oregon beat us they were the featured picture on the cover the next week and went on to lose their next game. Crazy stuff.
Hmm Texas, Florida State, or Colorado.

Oh my Does it get any worse than Kent State @ BC at 2 pm on espn360.com? That shouldn't even be allowed.
The field It's Boise's way of manufacturing attention by way of something completely unnecessary. Football fields are meant to be green.
I'm leaning towards Stanford @ Washington State. No better way to open the season than with a Pac Ten conference game in beautiful Pullman, Washington between two terrible teams who are pretty much identical. Both red, both hideous.
I'm most excited for Coach Rod to finally be able to forget about all this nonsense and put on that headset and coach- precisely what he was brought here to do. There will be no more stupid questions and hideous journalists, only his team and staff for sixty minutes of what matters most in this game- the actual game itself. I'm also really excited for our boys to put fifty points on the board.
Receive Send the offense out first. 8 play, 70 yard drive culminating in a Hemingway TD from Tate. 7-0 good guys. Ballgame.
