1 day 4 hours ago	I thought the same thing as	I thought the same thing as you did in his similarities to Reggie Bush.  Sure he plays a different position, but his size, speed, and fluid movement out on the field, all while blowing by chumps and making them look silly are very reminiscent of Bush.  I've also said he really looks like he could play pretty much any position other than along the lines.  Seems as though you see the same thing.   FTR, I am no expert; however, it doesn't take an expert to see that this kid is a rare and special talent on the football field.    /buckled
1 day 5 hours ago	One thing I will say about	One thing I will say about the recent use of alternative uniforms - one look and I know immediately which game is shown in whatever photo I'm seeing.  I usually get all tingly when I see striped shoulders (UTL, Sugar Bowl), but I shudder and cower when I see any of the others.

As did many others, I said from the moment Rutgers and Maryland joined the conference that their addition would very likely help Michigan's football recruiting. There is a good amount of football talent in NJ and MD, with the added bonus of VA being nearby.

2 weeks 3 days ago	This reminds me a lot of the	This reminds me a lot of the Stonum situation, and I have the same summary now as I did then.  Hoke is giving Hagerup all the rope he needs with which to hang himself.  Stonum couldn't hack it.  Maybe Hagerup can.   These days, many youths are seen as needing "instant gratification", so Hoke's method here actually makes sense, IMO.  Hagerup will have to prove that he wants to remain at UM, and he will have to do his time, a full year, wisely.  He will need to make long-term changes.  Behaving for a few weeks or months is easy; even career-criminal parolees can do that.    At this point, he holds the cards; it's up to him to play them wisely.
