"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."

Michael Spath at Rivals has a good ($) article posted about this topic. He said that, for this fall camp, there is no itinerary for the players. They're essentially on call 24/7. This quote really caught my attention: "they could get woken up at 5am one day and told practice starts in 30 minutes."

OT question: how does one see who's negging individual posts? I only knew about voting details for the OP of a given thread.

To be clear, I didn't mean that Harbaugh will tell every kid he talks to that they'll play both ways, but if he maintains the practice of using skilled players in such a fashion, then you can bet that elite recruits will ask about it at the very least. Harbaugh doesn't have to promise anything but an opportunity, which I'm sure is all he ever promises. But it's nice to have that history behind him to prove he's not just selling snake oil to kids.

Like it or not, if he is, as I stated "really productive" playing three ways there will be no stopping the early Heisman talk. Nowhere did I say he's going to win it, but the TV analysts always throw out their early hopefuls, and having UM players getting any positive talk after the past few years is a good thing. It doesn't mean he'll win it, but positive press is always good when it comes to recruiting HS kids who have big dreams.

Peppers playing offense (as well as defense and special teams of course) could be the greatest thing to happen for the immediate future of the program, for several reasons, none of which are likely lost on someone as shrewd as Jim Harbaugh.
1. Get the best athlete on the field that much more

Sound advice, coming from one Dr. Kimble. The problem is that if he ran, he'd probably get away temporarily, looking like he was going to escape, only to get caught before reaching his destination.

It actually does work like that, quite often. And in this case, I'm pretty sure Urban is more than capable of figuring out a role for a guy who has (for several years) mostly done nothing but shred other teams once he's gotten the ball in his hands. You have seen Miller play, haven't you? The dude simply has to get touches and the yards will come. This new role won't be much of a transition from his old role as a dual threat QB. The only concern for OSU is his durability.

You mean Harbaugh will make this team so good that we will be forced to play NFL teams? I can see it.

I can't really agree with the underachieving part of your assessment. If he underachieved with All Conference and All American play, leading to him being a first round draft selection, then I hope we get lots more underachievers - ASAP.
The asshat part is highly probable, however.

Also in the UP, albeit the eastern end (in the Soo), you've got the "Big C" from Clyde's and the West Pier drive in burgers. Both are very much worth a stop if you're looking for a good, and large, burger.

Thanks for the correction. Seems I should've known that, but I mainly recall a HS buddy living in Tucson and saying he was 3 hours behind when we would chat on the phone.

If he works for the Suns, then he likely lives in AZ, which is in the Pacific time zone. So it maybe wasn't all that late for him to be awake and tweeting. He could still be a tremendous douche, though.
