on a related note, I've really been enjoying the series on this youtube channel that compares Monday Night Raw and WCW Nitro shows from the 90s. I stopped watching in the late 90s, but it's a nice trip down memory lane, and Scott Hall plays a prominent role (playlist is called reliving the war).

I graduated M in 2008 when the economy crashed, and I was living in Lansing waiting tables and substitute teaching and basically doing whatever it took to not move back in with my parents. One day Perles came into the restaurant with some guests. The restaurant was East Lansing "fancy" and had butcher paper on the tables. The host showed the guests to the table early, so I was helping the server reset it while the guests were standing around. Perles watched me exchange the old butcher paper with a new in one motion. "You've got good hands," he said. "Are you in school?" I just said no and walked away, not wanting to prolong the interaction.
On one hand, I take pride in representing my University in a manner that reflects the high-minded ideals and benevolent intentions of the great men who founded it 200 years ago.
But 30 bucks for a pie is pretty steep. Plus I've been hooked on alley pizza in the highlands. That's the best ny style I've found around, and I usually prefer that to Detroit style

Their BeanFlicker (blonde Coffee Ale) is one of the best beers I've ever had. My taste typically gravitates toward the very hoppy, but man is that one good.
But I will mention that I have been driving to the mountains most weekends for day trips to the slopes. I go to keystone, and it takes about 1.5 hrs. As mentioned above, most people get up very early to go to the slopes, whereas I tend to leave closer to 10am, so that could be the reason for my good luck.
I would highly recommend moving here due to the weather and job opportunities.
I noticed that an above poster referred to the area as being highly diverse, and I strongly disagree with that assessment. I'm not sure if that affects your decision, but Denver itself seems to be whiter and yuppier than most big cities.
Another poster said "Another negative, I have found it difficult to connect with people out here" and I think that description is spot on. If you go downtown on the weekends, you are likely to experience unsafe levels of douchiness. The locals are great, but Denver is better than 70% transplants, so i feel confident blaming them.
Also, outside of RedRocks, Denver pulls some phenomenal musical acts year round. westword.com is a good resource for browsing events and getting an idea of what the city has to offer.

It is in high supply in Denver. I always drink that or upslope, though I think it is pretentious that upslope lists "snowmelt" as one of their ingredients

Areas for improvement: lyricism, and the hook sounded contrived
Upshot: I made it halfway through the song, which puts him in the 98th percentile for rap songs posted on sports blogs.
