Sam Webb implied that Fisher was a huge loss at the time, FWIW.

Interesting to see guys like Fisher, Zettel, W.Gholston, etc, that would've likely been playing for us had Martin/Coleman not dropped the ball.

Im half kidding because USC's  red and DARK yellow  uniforms are the only ones I like anywhere near to my alma mater (Michigan).... but by gosh I wish we dump the lemon yellow that seems to have evolved over the years.   USC's uniforms are perfect, and ours would be if the yellow was that of the maize of old.

"The Senator" is actually the perfect name, because it trumps Tressel and inadvertently makes him go down the memory hole.  Stick to your fine player evaluations Magnus, but leave analyses on other subjects, like nickname viability, to others.

that OL rivals the 1993 year with  Everitt, Cocozzo, Skene, Doherty, Elliott, Trezelle Jenkins, and a few others that slip my mind, that all played in the NFL.

I figure it'd be something these 17 year old recruits saw by the older players and/or the adults.  Ive heard that some programs often set up free sex for the recruits...and the only way I can see them objecting and being turned off is if they set them up with "minors", say, 17 year old girls. A guy like Neal could be mature enough to see that the older players and/or adults aren't protecting the minors in this regard. This is totally unfounded but it would be consistent to what both Neal and Anzalone had said. Think about it...it had to be something that breached their morals...  and if I recall, Meyer had two girls 'mistakenly' be in Denard's room on the Florida recruiting trip...now, say they were the same age as the recruit.....a mature recruit could see how wrong this is, as they are minors.  This will eventually come out.... and if I could bet I'd say that this is what it is.

I hope you guys realize that a strong OSU is good for us... Hoke and Meyer  I hope will take the rivalry back to what it was, and put the two teams at the forefront of college football again... We (Michigan) didn't do our part for a decade now.    So if you are reveling in this info bringing down OSU, just know that its not in our best interest.
