Eh this is a massive overstatement. The US has many world-class airports (DTW, ATL, SLC), many just fine airports (most second-tier airports fall here as would JFK), and some pretty bad airports (ORD, EWR).
There are plenty of nice airports around the world in developed countries (OSL, ICN, BRU) but there are lots of just fine ones (CDG, SYD, SCL) and some not great ones (LHR, LIS, BOD).
And having been to actual third-world airports, there is no comparison between some of the gross ones (CAI is just awful) and the worst in the US.
Also very oddly, the leaderboard graphic doesn't show the hole each player is on. Anyone know why this is? I don't think I've ever seen that before when watching golf.
In general Minny fans are nice, but Minny hockey fans (especially those on message boards) are like RCMB meets 11 Warriors. Just annoying, pretentious twats.
Could Michigan get a 5 seed in the Championship Game just once? Somehow UCONN has gotten a 1 seed, 3 seed, 8 seed, 8 seed, and 5 seed in its five championship game appearances.
Meanwhile we have faced one 3 seed (Seton Hall) and six 1 seeds, four of which were the #1 overall seed.
I had her for BCOM a few years back at Ross. She was a bit kooky then but nothing like this - I don't think we had any required coursepack let alone her subscription service. Sad to see that she went far off the deep end in the past 5+ years.
Lost to Texas in 5 sets in the semis also. Texas went on to dominate in the championship. Michigan was on fire that tournament and truly came close to winning it all, but there's been no success since then. What about the Kentucky coach? They won it all a couple years ago. I would have to imagine Michigan could top whatever their paying.
Seems like a great hire. Baker has consistently been the most liked governor in the country with over a 70% approval rating. And that's as a Republican in a blue state. I'm not getting in the politics of anything, but I think he is clearly a smart, well-liked guy with extensive public and private sector experience who can build consensus amongst opposing groups.
This is not ABC's best production. Lack of meaningful reviews, so many commercials. RGIII has some funny comments, but overall the analysis and commentary have been terrible. Neither commentator even mentioned the missed roughing the kicker earlier in the day.
As much as I would rather William be king than Charles, I do want Charles to be king for a little while so William and Kate can raise their kids somewhat normally. I have to think part of the reason Charles and Andrew have had so many issues is that Elizabeth just didn't have the time to be a normal mom.
I will add that I have met Coach Leonardi a couple times, and both times he has been incredibly friendly. Before coaching at UM, he was the head coach at Cal State Northridge, and for part of his tenure there he was also a high school teacher. He has a ponytail and has a very fitting Cali surfer vibe to him. Certainly seems like a good guy - and a great fit for recruiting in CA - on the surface.
Not only is there an OSU Women's hockey team but they just won the National Championship. So OSU has a hockey national championship more recently that Michigan. Bleh.

From 1970-1994, Tech won it in 75, Northern won it in 91, LSSU won it in 88, 92, and 94 (which is absolutely crazy), and MSU won it in 86. Red started to bring Michigan back in the early 90s, but Michigan was downright awful for a big chunk there.
For the first time since 1951, Michigan does not stand alone the standings of most NCAA titles. After beating BC in 98, Michigan had nine and North Dakota trailed with 7. Denver had five at the time, but they have won 4 in the past 18 years. Boo.
Realistically it has to be between Juwan and Nate Oats at Alabama. Oats is also in his second year and has Alabama (who can remember them ever being good at basketball?!) at #8 in the country. Bama was unranked at the start of the year and picked to finish in the middle of the SEC but instead has dominated the conference and won the SEC for the first time in 19 years. Both coaches have a very similar story to be honest. Michigan is certainly the higher ranked team and plays in a much tougher conference, but Juwan inherited a well-oiled machine while Alabama has been irrelevant for decades. Of course I think Juwan should win, but Oats has a very compelling case also. Of course, after last night's love affair, we all know who Dickie V thinks should win...
For passwords I devised a system to create a unique, strong password for every site based on rules and knowledge than only I would know. I considered using a password manager but preferred to actually know all my passwords personally.
