Last week was birthday

Last week was birthday weekend... things are fuzzy.  Nevertheless, he is just solid.  It's great to see his growth!

Grant Perry - Have we ever

Grant Perry - Have we ever seen him accrue any YAC? This game is over... nice run!

You have to run it though...

You have to run it though... I want to see the wrinkle that comes off of that which is probably a flip to the hb... penn state had 3 players on the mcdoom read

Wow... way to sniff that out!

Wow... way to sniff that out!  Let's see what wilt can do!

Vasav

Probably my favorite year at the University was the year that I spent too much time at North Hall.  One of my few regrets during my time was divulging my (lost) asthma history... North Hall has some great character and I love the memories that flood from the building!

Also, Vas... I hope Alaska is treating you right!

you may want to think about

you may want to think about shortening it up to twaffle...

Kalamazoo

As a high school teacher, many students/parents ask me for college advice.  For my higher achieving students I recommend UofM and K-College.  As an M graduate, I need no explanation for my recommendation.

With Kalamazoo College, however, I have been impressed with its high quality foreign language program, its Senior Project, and the caliber of student it attracts.  K-College is a great school!  My understanding is that it does a nice job placing students into graduate programs, which is a point that should not be overlooked!

What happened when the cow

What happened when the cow jumped over barbed wire?

Let's just put it this way.... it was udder destruction!

I cannot wait to road trip to Lincoln for the first Michigan-Nebraska game.  As a wee lad and native Nebraskan (I have not returned since I was one), I was convinced that Nebraska was the true '97 National Champion (no worries, as a UofM alum, my thought process has been cured).  In no way, shape, or form should the Nebraska addition not generate excitement!

some others...

I feel a tad left out.  While I earned way more credits than I needed at U of M (2007), I never had the privilege of taking a class with even one of the aforementioned professors/lecturers.

My favorites:

Allen Hicken, Politics of South Eastern Asia: He made a class that i had little interest in one of my favorites and he looks just like one of the guys from the Canadian sketch comedy Kids in the Hall.

Maria Coolican, School of Ed: She was a great teacher!  Each class was useful and she truly cares about the well-being of her students!

Good list... I am a tad concerned with the number of LBs. I guess we will have to see where the hybrids from this year's and last year's classes end up. To increase the number, I would like to see one fewer RB and Slot. I would be ecstatic to add three quality CBs!
Gracias señor! Gracias señor!
REALLY?!?!? I had no clue, but my interest was peaked and I was shocked to discover that T. Mass was that highly rated! Queue the discussion: Ratings do not matter! Look at Mike Hart... Could not resist.
"Michigan, however, remains "Michigan, however, remains on the list of at least three big-time recruits -- defensive end Sam Montgomery of Greenwood, S.C., defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick of Gadsden City, Ala., and linebacker Barkevious Mingo of West Monroe, La." Umm... Dre Kirkpatrick??? Did this guy do any research? Mingo he can make a case for, albeit a small one. Articles like this are just annoying. Do some research. Michigan would love Dre, but in all reality it is common knowledge that Michigan has no chance for his services.
A definitive deadline for a A definitive deadline for a recruit to make a decision would not hurt the elite prospects or schools; however, I can see how it could hurt those on the outside. I have no support of the assumption I am going to make; however, recruits earn last minute scholarships (Morales) that allow them to take advantage of an opportunity that they may not have had. Also, it allows other recruits to further assess their situation and decide whether they will ever have an opportunity to contribute. If a class fills up, it allows schools from the MAC, C-USA, etc. to swoop in and get a recruit that they may not have had the opportunity to secure. This is purely speculative...
My Top 5 1. USC 2. Florida 3. Texas 4. Oklahoma 5. Utah
I completely agree with both I completely agree with both of you. Before someone can criticize one's top 5, they must first understand the frame of reference that the ranking was assembled under. For me, Utah is a borderline top 10 team because of the record. They can be included in the top 5 talk because of the way they beat Alabama. With that being said, I really struggle to put them much higher than 5 because I saw week 1's game. Good discussion!
Visionary I was tempted to do the same. This will definitely be my preseason poll; however, Michigan will be ranked 1-119 because I feel like I will have the same feeling entering next season as I did 2008.
I completely agree. Watching I completely agree. Watching the UA game last night, it seems like Nunes and Patterson will develop into very nice players. He needs to stick around and develop Stanford, in order to land a top job. Side note, if I were a star athlete, Stanford would be my second choice...
I don't understand how he I don't understand how he plays with a shirt. For me, wearing a shirt with sleeves, especially as long as those that he sports, completely restricts my movement. If it was a superstitious thing... he played pretty well, so I do not expect to see it Wednesday.
