"It's a lot easier being a drug dealer than an AAU coach" - this guy. Tell me something I don't know. I mean, don't think but have never tried either.

I remember when not to long ago I practically got negged to Bolivia for suggesting that Countess would not start at CB.
|4 days 19 hours ago||agreed||
As much as anything this gives the D a huge advantage in this sort of a scrimmage. So we'll have to wait until week two to know just how good or bad things are.
|4 days 19 hours ago||Woah!!!||
optimism about the offensive line! This will not be tolerated! (sarcasm)
Nice to hear something positive up here, I choose to believe you and will ignore any naysayers. It's better for my health this way.
|4 days 19 hours ago||In fairness||
Many of the top rated recruits were not listed by anyone as being college ready, especially at the tackle position. Noboday was thinking LTT or others would be able to come in and dominate in year two. The only real exception to that was Kalis. So if you want cause for concern it would be Kalis.

You have to be impressed by Notre Dame. Many schools would encourage such activity. Well done ND. Now let's go crush them!
|1 week 6 hours ago||He clearly says||
He clearly says York's second chance should be elsewhere.
|1 week 7 hours ago||Great post||
Very well said on York. It was a terrible video, but Hoke is doing the right thing in taking his time and not letting public reaction to a video drive how he treats this young man.
|1 week 7 hours ago||Read it again||
He does not say it makes it okay or that he should even stay at Michigan. He's basically saying take in the whole picture before reacting the way some have.
|1 week 1 day ago||Agreed||
If you put Mundy on the list, you have to put Mallet on too. Both spent time here, but their real development was elsewhere.
|1 week 2 days ago||Really||
I don't think the coaches have done that in previous years. We are used to a steady diet of "they have to get tougher up front" and other such things from the coaches. There may have been a lot of optimism in the media, but not from the coaches.
|1 week 3 days ago||Well||
In fairness I don't remember to many folks being hyped about hockey around Detroit in the 80s when the Red Wings were terrible.
|1 week 5 days ago||NCAA win?||
Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a win for the NCAA. It limits payouts to $5k, which is essentially where they were going anyways. If I was the NCAA, I would not appeal this ruling. It is the best case scenario.
|1 week 6 days ago||In fairness||
The app state scheduling was a horrific mistake DB made early on in his tenure. I guarantee he regrets and certainly has not made that mistake again. He's moved on to other ones though.
|1 week 6 days ago||Well||
Apparently they don't "get away with it" since they sold such a small number and now have to resort to single game tickets.
|2 weeks 6 hours ago||Actually no||
He made those ints as the nickel back in under zone coverage, at least the majority of them. His ints were rarely on balls thrown to the guy he was covering and usually when no one was in his zone allowing him to look back and undercut the pass. Something he does very well. Makes you think he might be the best free safety on the team too.
|2 weeks 6 hours ago||What are you going to do||
I posted my honest opinion. I understand he came off an injury. But he the same problems before. He is a good nickel back and that is where he got his interceptions last year. That would be at the same time they were playing Taylor and stripling at corner. You would also all remember the board and Brian wondering why they would then take him off the field in non nickel situations at the end of the year., granted we played mostly nickel at that point. Either way, the coaches see it too.
|2 weeks 6 hours ago||Exactly||
|2 weeks 6 hours ago||But||
At the end of the year it was Countess that came off. If he plays corner we will have issues.
|2 weeks 6 hours ago||Title 9||
Title 9 will prevent them from getting rid of anything for girls or paying the players directly a lot of cash.
|2 weeks 15 hours ago||Countess||
I don't think countess starts at corner, he may not even play there at all this year. I think you see him at Nickel, where he spent most of last year and got his interceptions. He is not great at man coverage and has trouble looking back for the ball. I suspect he is passed by Taylor, Stribling and Lewis.
|2 weeks 15 hours ago||Bosch||
Hard to see a scenario where Bosch does not start. This line needs all the experience it cann get.
|3 weeks 16 hours ago||Right||
And then you get the recruiting class RR got in his last season. Brandon has played this game before and learned from it. That said, I don't think he is on the hot seat.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Population decline||
Add in the massive population decline in Michigan and increasing domestic airfares and it was bound to hit sooner or later. If we go under 100k it will be a negative recruiting paradise for some coaches.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Not the smartest thing to say||
But this guy always tells it like it is.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Good point||
Ha! Great point. Would have been interesting to see if the players would have played. That may have been the one thing that could have ended it quickly. Well, the one thing other than this ruling.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Why?||
Why is that amazing? Unfortunate, yes. But amazing, no. Buffett and Gates did not make their money because they would give it to charity when they made billions, they made it because they were quite smart, worked hard, and are good at business. Sterling made money because he was a good lawyer and smart with his real estate investments. This has nothing to do with being a jerk, though you could argue being a jerk helps in those two businesses.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||I agree||
One should be very cautious when recruiting from there, they have had a huge number of kids that have been a bit overrated. But great for the school getting kids D1 scholarships.
|4 weeks 3 days ago||And......||
That is different from every other AD how?
|6 weeks 3 days ago||OSU||
It's OSU than some distance to MSU and ND, and I can't distinguish between those two. I get that people are sick of losing to State, as am I, but ultimately winning that game still just feels like beating someone you should beat. Beating OSU feels like winning a big rivalry game and there is no comparison to that excitement.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||No||
No. DB does not spend his time approving what clothes Adidas sells to fans. Uniforms yes, everything else no. Also, the Adidas contract predates him.
