The buzzcuts are the ross perot of college basketball. They're annoying, no one takes them seriously, and they're never going to win it all. But they're just good enough to ruin things for you.
If you are looking for a fun night out on the town, I definitely recommend Gateway Quarter in Over-the-Rhine. Grab a bite at Senate, then for bars I highly recommend Neon's (a couple blocks east of Vine, on Main) or Lachman's. If you're downtown, Nada is a good spot for food, drinks, and pretty much just people watching. Righteous Room and Scene are the trendy hang out bars, Bartini is the popular club. Other restaurant recommendations would be Via Vite on the square or Table. Madonna's downtown or Pilot/Edge in Norwood for a dive bar. Blind Lemon in Mt. Adams for a low key place is also highly recommended. If you're up in Mt. Adams, definitely swing through City View and ask about the Charlie Manson story. And don't order tequila.
For activities, the old standbys like Union Terminal, the zoo, Taft museum, and the conservatory are always popular, but I would also check out what concerts are in town. The city has a pretty vibrant music scene (surprisingly), and Madison Theater and 20th Century usually get pretty decent acts. Might want to check out the Comet in northside, too. If you're in Northside, swing through Shake It, it's worth it. There's a good brewery tour that goes through the old brewery district up in OTR that's interesting. Someone above mentioned Jungle Jim's up in Fairfield, that's pretty entertaining for sure, if you're up for the hike. If you go up that way I think the new Gordo's might be open right next to JJ's (not sure on this). Great burger. Oh, and if you like burgers, try Terry's Turf Club on eastern ave.
She's borrowing her idea from a Bengals fan, who did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago (makes much more sense for a Bengals fan than a Tar Heels fan, obviously). I believe the winning bidder was a Steelers fan, who paid about $500.
In a four-man front, I wouldn't mind seeing Q and MM at DT, with RVB having the capability to slide inside on passing downs and Black rushing off the edge. Throw Ash/Talbott into the rotation occasionally and you have a five-man DT rotation. No true position changes there, but if successful that would at least avoid shuffling BWC back to defense.

I just picked up a studio xps recently and love it as well - since you mention graphics, have you found any video editing software that works well on your machine? The corel software I bought is useless.
As the other posters have mentioned, you will have no problem getting good seats for this game. They've always had trouble putting butts in the seats. In fact, IU has to take its promotional stadium photos when Ohio State visits, because it's the only time that the stadium is packed with red. For tailgating, the grass lots directly south of the stadium are best.
Here are a few quick recommendations on visiting B-town:
Lodging - I highly recommend the Biddle Hotel at the Student Union. For more room, try Century Suites.
Eating - Little Zagreb's (steaks), Mother Bear's (pizza), Scholar's Inn (breakfast).
Bars - Nick's, Sports (plenty of ourdoor seating).
