Grantland has a piece up on the game as well.

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/50084/10-thoughts-…

Can't say I agreed with Shane Ryan, but it was an interesting read none the less. I don't see two clear fouls on the last 2 blocks on Craft...whatever.

Sorry for jacking this post, I just don't have enough points to make a new thread.

Wow, RVP has a right foot

Wow, RVP has a right foot too?!

I mean, you can't blame the

I mean, you can't blame the guy for being disappointed with getting subbed out of a game in the 50th minute.

Interesting choice by city to start Balo

In my opinion, Tevez pairs better with Aguero. This definitely has the look of a snapped home win streak unless we something special in the second half.

Too good

Just, great job. What a group!

I forgot how exciting

I forgot how exciting recruiting could be!

This is a no brainer

If you are looking to watch a game with the commentary then Scorekeepers on a Saturday night is clearly not for you.  In fact, with those two goals in mind, just about any other bar in Ann Arbor would be a superior experience to Scorekeepers.

The Dirty Dancing

The Dirty Dancing soundtrack... Seriously... It's awesome... No, for real, It's awesome.

Yeah I have the Germans

Yeah I have the Germans taking the group and the tournament.  Holland will also advance.

I will be drinking this come rain or shine this afternoon!

Dud.  Considering they censored the best, most emotional part of the song I would say that this video came up pretty short of awesome.

Yeah I've got to say that I

Yeah I've got to say that I would rather play Minnesota.  It's tough to beat a good team 3 times in the same season, plus I kind of like their streak of tourney misses.  I guess it's all of the schadenfreude that the blog has exposed me to...

John Beilein for President!

John Beilein for President!  What a great year!  Basketball!

Jalen is the man!  I found

Jalen is the man!  I found the entire broadcast to be entertaining.  It kind of reminded me of a few broadcasts that they used to do in the premier league.  They would let a fan of each team call the game and hilarity always ensued.  I don't think they ever did live broadcasts of this, but would replay it later on.  I'm not sure what they called it but it was always great to see 2 fans just ragging on each other for 90 minutes.

Yeah I was asked by my

Yeah I was asked by my girlfriend if I could root for the buckeyes this morning... I answered yes and then immediately showered.  I still feel dirty, but maybe a new banner will cleanse me.

Can't say I was expecting

Can't say I was expecting anything close to that result!  Great win for JK!

And just think about what a

And just think about what a healthy Stuart Holden could add to our midfield!

Listen, I know all about

Listen, I know all about Jozy's role.  I think you missed my initial point, though.  I was refering to a few chances that he missed on the counter attack to link up with Dempsey through quicker play.  If you look at the move where he was easily pushed off of the ball, or even the play that he drew the fould that led to Dempsey's free kick, you could clearly see some frustration from Dempsey about Jozy's slow pace.

That was a lovely lay off by Jozy on Clint's goal, though!

GOAL DEMPSEY!!!

GOAL DEMPSEY!!!

Completely agree on Bradley.

Completely agree on Bradley.

On an unrelated note, I hope Altidore picks up his speed of play on some of these counter attacks in the second half.  I'm pretty sick of him holding the ball up and hoping to get fouled.

Well I'll take that half.  I

Well I'll take that half.  I think you would have to call that a pretty even first 45.

Dempsey had some pepper on

Dempsey had some pepper on that one!  That is going to be one of our better chances for the game.

I'm actually kind of pleased

I'm actually kind of pleased with some of the possesion that we are finding.  Also nice to see some of the room we are finding up the wings, but these shots need to start finding the target.

ugh, our backs look as shaky

ugh, our backs look as shaky as ever.  It's going to take a big game from Howard today!

Lets do this!

also... New Jerseys!

pretty sharp, eh?!

USWNT

took care of business too, 5-0 over Denmark

starting 11 for the italians

Italy lineup: Buffon; Maggio, Barzagli, Ogbonna, Criscito; Nocerino, Pirlo, Marchisio; Motta; Giovinco, Matri.

really like this

and I really agree with Magnus' idea.  Large initial class and then 3-5 per year.

The Black Keys

Your Touch- The Black Keys

Did you guys notice the comments from the link...

I'm pretty sure those were the most  stereotypical buckeye fans ever...

This was great!

What a fun defense to watch!

Huge

Is a waste of airspace, but gets some decent interviews from time to time.  Thanks for the content!

BTB is easily the best drunk

BTB is easily the best drunk food in Ann Arbor.  Not only is it delicious but it is super fun to throw the but end of your burrito at parked cars!  Try it next time you're stumbling around state street at 3:00 am, I dare you!

It is an international break

Fifa schedules them every now and then and most teams take advantage by either playing multiple qualifiers or friendlies.  England played Wales and then Ghana, the US played twice, I think Argentina traveled to Costa Rica after playing the US.  Pretty common.

I would hardly call the first half horrible...

but it certainly was dissapointing.

I do have to say that I am getting pretty excited about Tim Chandler.  I really like his ability to get forward.

Hopefully the Second half will turn some of our possesion into pure goal scoring chances.  It looks like we'll have the wind at our backs.

Agudelo is very intriguing

Think about this.  He is younger than Brazilian Neyman who has 3 caps and 3 goals for Brazil.  Agudelo has 3 caps (before tonight) with 2 goals and a pentalty drawn.  Neymar has been linked with Chelsea in a move that last year was around 30  million pounds and could easily move close to 50 million this summer.  The difference is (and it's a big one) that Neymar has played considerably more 1st soccer at the club level.

Great to see this staff start

Great to see this staff start collecting recruits!

I saw from the @USSoccer

I saw from the @USSoccer twitter feed that niether Mix or Lichaj (sp?) are not dressing.  I would have rather seen Lichaj than Mix personally.

THANK GOD!!!!

THANK GOD!!!!

Some soccer references...

As a Barca/Arsenal fan I've got some good ones...

Barca- Luis Figo, Ronaldo (the first one, not Christiano)

Arsenal- Ashley Cole

I also have to echo the Brek Shea sentiment.  Not sure why I hate him so much but I definetely cringe every time I see him mentioned with the National Team.

Just a great post

I couldn't agree more, I JUST WANT TO KEEP SEEING THEM PLAY!!!  The beauty is, we get another year with the ENTIRE team!  Thank you coaches and players for giving the Michigan Faithful something to get excited about!  GO BLUE!

This was a great event two

This was a great event two years ago and should be fun again this year!  We are pretty solidly in the tournament at this point so I am just looking to avoid that first round of four.

Was this shot at Ricks?

Highlighter Marker Yellow?

Highlighter Marker Yellow?  Are you sure you aren't talking about Oregon?  If anything our old gold shade of yellow looked MORE like West Virginia.  I think our current shade of maize is damn near perfect.

I would love to see a

I would love to see a possible match-up with SDSU and Steve Fisher.  Can you imagine the hype for that game especially with the airing of the Fab 5's 30 for 30?!
