The only thing your points mean is you have way to much time to comment on this board.....Just because a guy gets drafted early doesnt mean he's a top notch player. The leagues full of All-Pros who either went undrafted or drafted low. Lewan might have been a bad example, but who expected this kid to really bulk up and lock down the left tackle spot as a red shirt freshman.

RRod knows our defense stinks, and doesnt want to get stuck in a shootout. Once we built leads, I think he just wants to run time off the clock and make the other team take chances. RRod also probably wanted to really limit the playbook once he knewthe offense could score at will. Teams stopped us once the other team made adjustments on the few plays we ran. GO BLUE!!!!!
Maybe at a different time he would be a favorite to becomem Michigan's coach. But I believe he wants to coach in the NFL like his brother. Within the next two years NFL teams are gonna go hard after him. I think a positive about Rrod is that he is a college coach, and will not bolt.

although it wasnt at the level of B10 football, I sprained my MCL on a thursday and played on saturday. I played DE and hobbled for a few weeks, it was better in a few weeks and I never missed a game. I also wasnt treated by Michigans staff. I except by MSU, and only because he isnt needed until then.
Ezeh maybe a bit soft, but I felt like he didnt get a fair shake. This defense emphasizes him taking on the lead block with the backside lb scraping over to make the tackle. Although it isnt ideal for ezeh to fall.
Im sick of reading articles that pretty much say the same thing. I personally dont pay any attention to preseason rankings because they mean jack. None of these columnists know how a certain team is going to be, the coaches dont even know. Talk to me about rankings after week four.

How does tate have your total confidence? The kid was great and exciting at times, but how do you seriously forget that OSU game? I dont really care which kid wins the job, just that they win. If DR looks to be the better QB, than he needs to play.
Offensive lines in the NFL are not built off of top draft picks, they're developed and molded into quality units. The best lines are developed from tough, smart football players. Look up the lines of the colts and patriots.
I thought this was inevidable. All signs pointed to this, from his Dad getting a new contract, a new basketball arena opening and the way the Mount Pleasant community accepted the Ziegler family. I wish the best for him and hope MSU and Ohio State pop-up on their schedules so he can kicks their butts.
You named off some black qbs and compared robinson to them. All black qbs are not the same. Look at the systems and type of qbs they are and you realize all they have in common are black and athletic.
If ziegler goes to CMU, it is not going to be because his dads job is in jeopardy. He signed a new contract recently and the CMU community is very happy with him. This kids a really good kid, and it would not surprise me if he went to CMU. I met him when his dad first went up there and the community welcomed the family with open arms.
