7 hours 36 sec ago	I played it briefly last	I played it briefly last night, and I had mixed feelings.  I hadn't played since NCAA 12, but I didn't feel like there was any major progress (well, duh, it's EA) and there were a few things that I actually thought were worse than years before.  The graphics and colors look too cartoony now, and the animations seem even more choppy and unrealistic.  Maybe these things will be improved when the game is released, but I wasn't impressed in those areas.  The running felt more fluid and I like the hard cut.  Some new tackle animations and supposedly they added some real time physics but I'd prefer if they go all out with the physics so we don't have to see the same 10 tackle animations every time. I can't decide if I'm going to drop the $60 bucks on this one.  I didn't last year.
2 weeks 2 days ago	How valid is this population	How valid is this population shift claim?  I realize that the population is growing in the south faster than in the midwest, but it's not like the population is shrinking in the midwest either.  There are a finite number of spots available on D1 football rosters, and the population in the midwest has been enough to fill that. On the other side of the same coin, the number of spots on SEC rosters isn't growing, so more good recruits coming from the south will lead to an overflow to other areas.

17 weeks 6 days ago	I keep hearing that girl's	I keep hearing that girl's soccer is really dangerous because their necks don't have the muscles to withstand fast changes in direction which often leads to neck injuries.  I have to imagine football would be even more dangerous for the average girl. With that said, this is not an 'average' girl, and she can clearly hold her own.  I have no problem with it in this case, but I don't think your average girl should be allowed to play contact football.

But seriously, I agree with what your wrote, with the caveat that I don't know how the pass offense will be next year with 3 new starters on the interior.  Run blocking should improve though, because that can't get any worse.

20 weeks 2 days ago	Agreed re: Illini fans	I went to the 2009 football game against them (which was completely awful in its own right) and their fans are the worst I've experienced. Yes, worse than sparty fans (also went to that game that year, and it was also awful for obvious reasons). I have no idea why they hate us so much.
