"Northwestern fans can be both heartened and disheartened by the loss to Minnesota just like how nineteenth-century resurrectionists were heartened when they pried a heart from a freshly-buried corpse and then disheartened it when they sold it to a disreputable anatomist."

The Warden (MD) is finally in trouble. No one talks about the two car loads of football players who were with Winston last year at the fight with the hockey player. The Freep was too busy building a story against UM. It is about time.

I bet Tate is still hurt from the Indiana game. No one talks about it. We are 4-0 and he suffers a seperated shoulder. Then his production gradually declines throughout the season. Same thing happened with Chad. Next year, with three qb's, we will be in a better place.

Agree. They were worse than our football team. I say, pipe in music the whole damn game. It is better than hearing the 'roaring 20's' and ragtime.

What is the deal with the roaring 20's halftime? THe game was bad enough. We should have piped in music during the Michgan band halftime.

For over 25 years, i have complained that I could not hear the band. And, if you could hear them, you would hear boring, classical music. Now, they get what they deserved. At least there is some loud music to fire up the crowd.
