|7 weeks 3 days ago||don't compare the hours||
a resident (or even most physicians) works compared to other professions.
I will have gone three months of 80+ hours / week straight (without Christmas/New Years) before I see two weeks of clinic (60 hours a week) and then a vacation in May.
Michigan undergrad and Michigan med have done me wonders, but please, the hours are different than almost any other profession.

Definitely feel the same way, and think all Michigan fans should be skeptical with how confident we are feeling. MSU has weapons offensively, but just hasn't seemed to use them effectively this year. It may gel this week, and this may be the week our defense makes a few key mistakes.
We just need to get to Cook frequently. Knock on wood, but I don't see their run game being an issue.

BYU only won that game out of a very improbably pass at the last second. I also think our team matches up better against BYU than Boise State's did. but that's just my opinion.
|19 weeks 4 days ago||we'll be extra rankedly ranked when OSU arrives at the Big House||
when we're 10-1.
|20 weeks 13 hours ago||a few things, to state the obvious||
1. UCLA threw 3 interceptions right in the red zone. That kept the score much closer than it should have been, even if you remove 1-2 of those interceptions.
2. BYU used a last second hail mary to beat a pretty stagnant Nebraska team (IMO).
3. Since the Utah game, I'm guessing Harbaugh has been implementing more of his system, but we still haven't seen much of it on the field - mostly because we've been up by multiple scores for both games. At least we know that BYU has thrown everything in their playbook out there so far.
I'm not going to make bets on the game, but I think if Rudock limits the turnovers (even if he has just an average performance) then I think we can win it.

Far better than the blistering heat that early September Saturdays sometimes provide.
enjoy the game to everyone going!
|21 weeks 4 days ago||the national anthem||
is by FAR the grossest display. I can't believe the MMB performs it every week. The word "bombs" is written right in it. how disgusting. /s

They occur with the national anthem to add a sense of grandiosity. Both are national symbols, albeit war-related.
I love how Lloyd Carr said his favorite moment of every game was when the national anthem was played.
|4 years 14 weeks ago||MSU lost two games||
We have lost only one. I don't see how it's possible to put MSU ahead of us in the polls after their loss to Nebraska yesterday.
|4 years 14 weeks ago||MSU at 14?||
They lost two games. We've lost 1. Same can be said for Wisconsin.

I don't think Illinois has hosted Gameday, and the Illinois/Michigan games the past three years have been very memorable.
|4 years 16 weeks ago||I have the Michigan gnome||
and if I'm not home for the game, I turn on the TV so he can watch it, and set him up on the coffee table.
Neurotic and superstitious? maybe, but Hans likes his football.
|4 years 16 weeks ago||my thoughts are||
Gameday may want to go to East Lansing next weekend if MSU were to win against Michigan tomorrow.
Are there other games as big as next weekend's potential showdown between a top-5 Wisconsin team and the potential (but improbable) top-15 MSU?
|6 years 42 weeks ago||7-5 or 8-4||
WMU - W
Anyone saying we'll win less than five is almost as ridiculous as the people saying we'll go 11-1 or 12-0.
