is there any chance that since he is waiting until after signing day, we might not have a scholarship to give him? it sounds like we are taking 22 in the class, and if fisher, rawls, clark, willingham, and cooper want to sign with us on NSD, do we hold out on the chance of getting barnett and not let one of these guys sign?
AJ would be a great fit for this offense but the fact that hes not making this weekend for the game leads me to believe he will choose wisconsin. it seems like wisconsin has been in the lead for a little while now and a visit this weekend might have vaulted us back on top
really glad that wormley will be at the game. he has to be one of the top targets for our class next year
also is it safe to say that crawford will be on committment watch after this visit? its seems like we have been out front for a while and he loved his visit for the spring game. he would be a huge pick up and will help recruit watkins
i think when you hire a new coach, especially in the case of RR and a complete overhaul of the offense, you have to be prepared to give him 5 years. if he cant get it done in 5 years, then we can start having this conversation. the fact of the matter is our offense has made great strides, and they are all underclassmen except two offense linemen. what denard is doing as a sophmore and a first year starter is ridiculous and i get chills thinking about what he will do next year let alone his senior year.
in my opinion as long as we become bowl eligable RRs job is safe this year. now the job security of the defensive coordinators and assistants, especially gergs, is a whole different story
this is definetely a tough loss but if we have a major strength on our team its depth at wr. kelvin grady has been playing really well and should step right in. im hoping guys like T rob and gallon will step up also at the slot position
these in state guys are a must get in my opinion. not only are they defensive players, but also are going to be big time national recruits. does anyone know if jenkins-stone/ richardson/ ross are all trying to go to school together? it seems as if these guys have been at every michigan home game together
i know it is still really early but it sounds like jenkins stone is all but a lock and hopefully his committment will lead to a domino effect with these other guys
does anyone know the latest on odoms? i read the presser about a possibly broken ankle but havent heard anything after that. i know it has only been a day but...
definetely disagree on #1. denard is our starter and though he made some bad decisions, his two endzone INTs were not bad decisions but bad throws. RR needed to show denard that he is confident in him to play himself out of a bad game so far.
its tough to say about the defense. while i agree that the 3 man rush is not effective nor will it ever be effective, james rogers and our freshman corners have shown me nothing to trust them in single coverage (kind of a double edged sword because if we dont get pressure on the qb, the corners will get picked apart anyways)
yeah ezeh continues to blow my mind how bad he is. not only missed assignments and poor reads, but also tackling. i like the fact that gerg was aggressive but it really just exploits our terrible secondary

would love to get this kid and his 4.5 speed. can always use speed on either side of the ball, especially at play making positions like slot receiver
just commit already DeVondrick!!

agreed. smith has done nothing better than shaw. i would like to see more shaw/hopkins with the occassional v smith instead of the other way around
