I actually live in Meigs County, about 10 minutes from where Small was arrested. This area is notorious for growing marijuana and prescription abuse, but based on the area where He was arrested, (about 2 miles from the bridge between Ohio and West Virginia) my guess is that he was on his way to Charleston, West Virginia. There's been numerous arrests in Meigs County of people that are traveling from Columbus to Charleston to transport drugs. Obviously with the amount of drugs he had in the car, he wasn't just using. Not sure what my point is, just sharing the information. Although the drug abuse in this county and all over the country is sad, as a Michigan fan living in Meigs County where he was arrested, I am enjoying it! All of the Ohio State fans around here are very proud! lol
Did anyone hear Hoke on the Dan Patrick show? All of my buckeye friends said they asked him about how meyer will affect recruiting and hoke said "not good" Someone also told me that Michigans athletic department called right after hoke's interview. Whats going on?
Whenever my husband and I go to Michigan games, we always stay at the Sheraton in Detroit/Novi which I believe is about halfway between Ann Arbor and Detroit. , We always enjoy our stay and I think it's in a good location, especially if there arent any hotels available in AA. We just canceled our reservation we had there for the weekend of the OSU game so there should be at least one room available!!! We've never had a problem with vacancies though and we made a reservation there for the Notre Dame game only about a week in advance. Good luck and most of all, I hope you get to see a Michigan victory. Not looking too good right now though in my opinion.
i have the same exact flag and have been going to meet the team for a few years and getting new auto's every year. same thing you are planning on doing. they have their own markers, but bring your own. i use a silver sharpie on my flag and it shows up great. the players usually have black makers so definitely bring silver....just ask them to use your pen, they dont seem to mind
i just wish they wouldnt get ahold of the tickets in the first place. i wish michigan fans would hold onto their tickets for that game instead of selling them, which i assume is one of the things happening
and i know what you mean about not wanting to go into ohio stadium as a michigan fan. i did that when i was 13 and needless to say, my mother had to get me out of there at halftime lol
just a curious question. i have never been to an osu/michigan football at Michigan. I am a huge Michigan fan and have been to an osu/mich game in Columbus. Why does it seem that in Columbus the stadium is full of osu fans and not too many michigan fans. and the michigan fans that are there, you cannot hear them in the stands. but i have noticed just from tv, it seems like ohio state fans invade michigan stadium. you can even hear them chanting ohio!!! How does this happen? Does all of the Michigan fans sell their tickets to osu fans or what??? I hate seeing the Big House full of red!!!!!!!!!!
i just listened to the head guy at tigerbait.com on the huge radio show and he said that les has told ppl that he's only meeting with michigan so that he doesn't embarrass Michigan. he also said that they are working on les's contract and it could be finalized tomorrow, possibly even tonight and then he may not even meet with michigan. in my OPINION maybe les has informed his players and his a.d. that he is interviewing with michigan but that he's not going anywhere. Maybe Michigan knows Miles isn't an option but they are interviewing him anyway to satisfy the fans who would completely freak out if they didnt at least interview him. who knows what goes on during coaching searches. but i'm not feeling too good about les coming to michigan

that's what i think miles is doing...accomodating his alma mater by speaking with them during their coaching search..and i think that's all he's doing. i still don't think he'll leave lsu but i hope i'm wrong
they did meet in 2007. which is one reason why i think that this time around he will handle it differently. the last coaching search was a big mess (kirk herbstreit) etc. and was embarassing to michigan. i hope i'm wrong, i for one would like to see miles in michigan. he may do some things wrong, but i don't know what more ppl could want. he wins games in the sec, won bcs championship, beat tressel, michigan man, great recruiter. i think if he can beat teams in the sec, he can beat big ten teams...once again, just my opinion
i completely agree...it's like he was saying "i'm not going to michigan" without actually saying it. the only question is why doesn't he just say it...
to michigan. i have read that his wife doesn't want to come back to aa, and he even said how happy his family is there and that he loves it there. yeah he could come right out and say "NO" im not going to michigan and get it over with, but i think that he at least wants to talk to michigan if for anything, so they aren't completely embarrassed by again by another coach that doesn't want to come back to michigan. i just seriously think his comments about spending time with his underclassmen, loves it in b.r., family loves it there etc. i think he's pretty much made up his mind, he's not coming but he's gonna hear what they have to say out of respect. just my opinion.
