I think this would be good, he's been a coach for there entire secondary including seperate years as DB coach, safety coach and then secondary coach as well as LBs, not to mention scouting. I think that would be a great get *fingers crossed*
I don't necessarily believe this. Look at what UF did with bringing in a DC to be head coach( yea he was coach in waiting but still has no HC experience) and then brouhgt in Weis with loads coaching including HC experience to be an OC. Granted yea we don't know how that is going to work out, but I think it will end up working out pretty well for them.
it has been absolutely perfect. I was in the same boat, was sold on harbaugh and when realized he wasn't coming was sold on Miles was a pro-no hoke. but now that he is here and how he has conducted it all i am 100% pro-hoke...ALL IN
Come on man, don't make this about the Mealer and there story. I think everyone in college football knows that that is one of the greatest and most loyal stories ever...... and is definitely 100% different than a QB who decided he didn't want to start or at least try hard to have the skills to start
don't feel like reading through another 4 pages of posts to see if it has been said but anyone who has been looking at tigerdroppings have an idea of who LSU is looking at for a HC if we do indeed end up with Miles? lol
Not to be that guy, but I guess I can follow suit lol....I posted this link about 3 hours before this thread therefore this thread is unneccesary right?
totally agree, but if you can do something like that and gain an advantage that everyone else in the conference is taking advantage of, you're going to be more apt to do it.(not saying I agree it's OK at all, I do think it's pretty messed up) But I also don't think he would even come close to getting away with it up here, especially with us being on probation.

I know it's just an opinion and no other facts around it, but it is just a different take on the recruiting situation... http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/messagetopic.asp?p=23804053
Let's just hope he's not dumb enough to recruit the same players to each school lol

Hasn't that happened at multiple SEC schools?
He's not going to get away with the over-recruiting at UM(which has been stated before) and he can clearly recruit
Land on the M you get the job....miss it, tough break sir. And when your chute doesn't open you know we didn't want you anyway.
