7 weeks 5 days ago	Control the Four Minute Stretches	I would love to see us play in a manner where the game is essentially eight 4 minutes stretches.  Control each one, cut off any and all Florida runs.  I'm nervous about this game (obv being obv), but not as scared as the Kansas game.  This feels like an edge-Michigan game for some reason, despite us being a 5-point KenPom dog.

8 weeks 4 days ago	Conditions are Part of the Home Field Advantage in WCQ	It's funny how the US didn't file a protest after the Honduras game, where it was intentionally scheduled in the middle of the day, and the day was designated as a Honduran national holiday to ensure the best possible fan turnout.  If the answer by FIFA is anything other than bellowed laughter, I'm going to think something is up.  Oh wait, FIFA is already corrupt.  Crap.

10 weeks 3 days ago	Maybe the Game from Sunday...	Will light a fire. They played inspired, just couldn't hold on. I'm looking forward to the B1G Tournament (and not just because I have an all-session ticket). If (when) we go on a run, the slew of teams we get a chance for revenge at is sweet. Also, while we have some glaring flaws, all teams do this year. An NCAA run from the 2 or 3 is not out of the question (it may be likely, actually).

11 weeks 1 day ago	MN plays at Purdue, IL plays at OSU	Lose both, they are both 8-10. If both are safely in, then that is a pretty crappy bubble. Not sure what will happen, but a sub-.500 conference record, even In a tough conference, is hard to justify.

11 weeks 4 days ago	Interesting	It's nice to see the B1G getting so much respect.  Even Minnesota, after their annual mid-season free fall, has righted the ship momentarily and is back to receiving votes. Rankings, despite how maligned they are, tend to follow (within +/- 2 how seedings are placed for the tournament.  I like seeing us in the top 8, because it is a strong sign we can at least get a 2-seed.  1-seeds are nice for marketing, but are really no different from 2-seeds (with the lone exception being the first round opponent tends to be a worse).

Any time they claim that they are "22 points" better than us, remind them that they just lost to a team that lost to Penn State, which is pretty humiliating for them.  Also, tell them how soft they are for giving up so many points in the paint.

12 weeks 3 days ago	This year is too chaotic for me to disagree	This may be the year a team can lose by 23 and win it all (us) due to the parity around the country, so who am I to argue that a team who has lost 8 of its last 11 will make the Elite 8. If they can get back to form, they have a shot.

That the NCAA Tournament officiating is a horrific wake-up call to Big Ten teams that thrive on the Big Ten officiating. How many Final Fours has Wisconsin been to under Ryan? How many times have they finished near the top of the standings?

Mike Valenti dared callers yesterday when he said Michigan is not elite like OSU!  He said no recruiting service has Michigan #1, and then he rattled off Rivals, 247 and ESPN.  Me thinks he cherry picked his recruiting services...or he was just being a dingbat...or both. Sometimes I wish there was an intelligent Michigan caller on that station that also yells back at him whenever he goes off on one of his Bill O'Reilly-type bullying tirades.  I'd do it, if I actually listened to the show in more than bits and pieces (because that is all I can stomach until the WTKA goes live again).
