Do you have time to calculate situational PAN for last year's B1G and also top 20 overall QBs? It would be nice to compare Denard to Forcier, Luck, Pryor, Persa, Moore, etc.
That wasn't just any guy writing, that was an unsigned editorial. To give you a sense of how profound being mentioned in the Daily Star is, I got my picture published in 6th grade for winning an award. I am not an athlete.

Now that same kid is a Junior and he’s blue chip, [top ten] in Ohio in the 2011 class, ESPN Top 50, etc. And all of a sudden Notre Dame is interested?
...
1. Respectable pass-blocking
2. Forcier to play the whole season like the Notre Dame game Forcier
3. Robinson to look like a young Pat White, i.e. make zone stretch reads and be a credible threat passing downfield
4. The emergence of someone buried in the depthchart like Roundtree
5. 1000+ yard rushing for Smith
6. Below average but improved play by the LBs and safeties
7. 10-2 regular season record with losses @PSU and @OSU
Taking net actual to predicted values:
+10 rushing offense
+6 passing offense
+4 rushing defense
-12 passing defense
+4(?) special teams (inferred from a +0.7 Michigan ST in your Purdue preview)
Plus
+1 in turnover margin
Did Purdue manage better scoring efficiency to get the win?
I'm looking forward to The Mathlete's By The Numbers analysis.

Iowa got 6 of their 8 conversions on the two first half TD drives:
3rd and 6 for 10 yards
3rd and 3 for 4 yards
3rd and 12 for a 34 yard TD
3rd and 6 for 33 yards
3rd and 24 for 47 yards
3rd and 1 for a 1 yard TD
7. Until he started rolling out immediately late in the 2nd half, it felt like the MSU line got pressure almost every time Forcier dropped back to pass. The receiver drops in the first half really hurt, but there was little time to set up to throw. Did we try to throw downfield more than once besides the two TD drives in the 4th?
7a. Of the 10 rushing attempts by backs and Odoms (not counting the Minor run in OT), 4 went for negative yards. Forcier and Robinson were sacked 4 times. I seem to remember 1 or possibly 2 were coverage sacks, but MSU was in the backfield all game. That is what covered for the sketchy MSU secondary.

Interestingly enough, Persa was media 2nd team while Tolzien was coaches 2nd team. Robinson was honorable mention QB by the coaches.

Maybe Denard will hit 11 DO passes against Wisconsin and 12 DO passes against Ohio State.
