I noticed that too, so I watched it a couple of times. Braden's guy, who he whiffs on, is the one who eventually makes the tackle. If Braden gets that block, Butt scores. Still great effort on Braden's part, not easy for a lineman to stalk block a DB.

They are the same company. ABC usually takes the premier game, so I hope it IS ABC.

So your reasoning is that we can't score enough points to beat Penn State? All we have to do is put 10 guys on the LOS to stp their run game and have Peppers play the rest of the field to cover the occasional Hackenberg pass that goes past the LOS, cleanup any run plays that get through the 10-man line and return punts, and PSU will not score. hell they may move backwards fast enough to score for us.

To make matters worse, it looks like the right guard (#72) is attempting to hold the Temple rusher, but is unsusccesful at that as well.

What kind of arrogant, elitist, douchebag goes on a Michigan SPORTS blog to discuss the finer points of private education and patrician sports??? If you want to brag about the size of your IRA, try WSJ.com. No matter what you say on here, this discussion is not about what is best for your children, it is completely about stroking your ego.

Ummm, your definition of a "Detroit School" is interesting. Brother Rice and Harrison are about as much "Detroit" as OLSM.

I have 3 kids around this age, and I find it absolutely hilarious. If it was the first one, I would have immediately tried to stop the dog, while stifling laughter. The second one would have had the dog stopped after I called my wife in to see what was going on, and the youngest, well, I would have had to fnd my phone to record it. The more kids you have, the less these insignifcant things bother you, and the more you can find humor in them. This doesn't make you a bad parent, just means you realize that you have relaized what really matters. I equate this to the pacifier test to tell how many kids someone has:
Pacifier falls on the floor at home:
1 kid - throw it away or boil it in bleach
2 kids - wash it off in sink with hot water and soap
3 or more kids - wipe it off on your shirt, maybe suck or lick any visible dirt off and give it back.

You cannot copyright or trademark a color. Nike may own the rights to the name of the color "maize", but Adidas can make michigan's uniforms and clothing any color they desire.

I don't know why but this Flint/Dearborn vs. AA debate is driving me crazy. It is like saying you went to Wisconsin when you attended Stevens Point or saying you went to Cal, when you went to Santa Barbara. They are different schools, with different admissions, different faculty, different missions and different types of students. The best argument I can come up with to prove the differentiation is that UM Flint or Dearborn students cannot attend classes at Ann Arbor.
By proclaiming them to be different schools, does not intrinsically diminish the two satellite schools. They just aren't "Michigan", as it is commonly refered to.
And for all those clamoring about their diploma just saying "University of Michigan" on it, it appears that has been rectified.

Ho win the WORLD have you been alienated by Adidas? Do you even know what that word means?
Also, just because Nike owns the color NAME "maize" doesn't mean it is substantially differenet from what we have been using with Adidas. I have many Nike products from late 90s through 2007 that have the exact same colors as Adidas stuff from the past 7 years. Nike doesn't own a copyright on any color, just the name of the color.
If we really want to "go back to what Michigan is supposed to look like", let's sign a contract with Russell Athletics, who supplied the jerseys prior to 1995.
