But D line recruiting, talent evaluation, and development have been outstanding the past few years. Not sure about an "upgrade", but holding at the same level would be a win.

I feel that he's an alumnus and the greatest coach in Michigan football history, and thus earned the right to rock a Michigan hat anytime he damn well pleases. The man has given more to the football program that just about anyone on this blog (with the exception of any former players posting or browsing).

Just saw an article about the Steelers S&C coach leaving after 23 years. They've been a very good team for that time period, no doubt he had an impact.
