Actually they are full of rationalizations that conclude this is OK. Kelly doesn't get along with him so it's OK. Kelly wants his own guy so it's OK. He underperformed on recruiting trail. Henderson is just OK. On and on it goes. Hope we run for 300 yards on their sorry asses in Columbus. Then let's see how the rationalizations sound.

Adjustments and improvements of any kind, regardless of who is coaching, have been nonexistent. The health issue simply shouldn’t be used as a free pass. But that’s exactly how Warde sees it.
Desmond has an argument for best skill position player in Michigan history regardless of birthplace so he’s definitely on the list. Tyrone Wheatley would also be on the list.
This really requires some serious mental gymnastics. But I put the Moore game sealing INT against Ohio State #1 because the Big Ten title, Rose Bowl and championship don't happen without that.
Losing Sabb hurts. The kid is clearly ready for prime time after finishing the season strong. He’s going to be a stud somewhere and it’s frustrating we aren’t retaining talent in a position group where lots of people play. “Starter” designation isn’t all that meaningful in the secondary since it’s so situational - best players play and he was going to get a lot of snaps.
Friends, we haven’t handled prosperity well or capitalized on it in any meaningful way. This “continuity” that was stressed ends up being Moore, Campbell and Newsome. Maybe Bellamy and Hart? Is there a single recruiter on the defensive side of the ball? The whole transition has been like watching the Keystone cops. Very disappointing.
