| 31 min 3 sec ago | This year, and potentially |
This year, and potentially next year we'll have 5 starters in the backfield, and 11 scholarship players competing as backups. So many of these kids have huge upside, or could potentially start at multiple spots on the field, I have no idea what the depth chart will look like in 2014. What a nice problem to have |

The absence of JMFR and the addition of Dymonte into this years early roster will only further encourage this type of formation |

If only we could get a prototype offensive tackle. Athletic, top ranked recruit, like 6'7" tall, from a hotbed area like New Jersey, plays for one of those Catholic powerhouses, maybe named, oh I don't know, Juwann Bushell-Beatty. That would be awesome :D |

Oh, basketball guard. Okay, good for them, I guess. Color me not too worried. |
| 6 days 22 hours ago | This is hilarious. My Sparty |
This is hilarious. My Sparty friends narrative for the last two years basically boils down to: We're better than Michigan, we're relative, we're a big important team! Recruits these days have just been obliterating their world view, lol |

Well on the whole it probably is overhyped, but the SEC is still wayyy better than the Big12. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | If Poole is questionable then |
If Poole is questionable then the depth would be thinner, but I suppose the coaches have some flexibility with Ferns being such a good ILB prospect, but with SAM size |
| 1 week 6 days ago | I'd guess that the coaches |
I'd guess that the coaches would only take 1 more lb, a SAM type. Our depth at ILB is an embarrassment of riches, even sans Ringer. Poole, McCray and Gedeon waiting behind a talented young 2 deep. I'd expect a WDE type and/or an extra Safety for the class. WDE because they'll rotate in, and an extra Safety because our depth has a lot of developmental players in it. |

This is big. Getting elite talents to visit for big games. I definitely want this kid at Michigan |

Dude. The first AND second rules about Fight Club. YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB! Lesson learned at this point, I expect, lol |

Could watch reruns of NCIS. Seriously, did everybody else know Mark Harmon is Tom Harmons son? I only just found out this morning. |

Last year our 4 losses were away games, and even with our OLine struggles and bad turnovers we could've, or even should've, won 3 of them. This year with those opponents at home and what I see as improvements in our OLine and passing game we should be able to edge those opponents out. |

I'd guess JBB and Alex Bars would be the bookends, with Cole, Doles, and maybe Jamarco Jones in the middle *drools* |

Ethan Pocics older brother Graham was a 6'7" Center at Illinois, but yeah, it's pretty rare. |

6'5 to rivals and scout, 6'7 to ESPN and 247. The sites listing him taller rate him a little better. |

They were all bad. I picked #3 because the others looked like they were designed as a middle school class project. |

For me that would've been with the light zapper |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Hmm.....I was neither |
Hmm.....I was neither panicking, nor was I talking about Durants long term viablity for the Lions. I don't think the quality of their depth is sufficient, and I'd like it if they tried to improve their position instead of maintaining the revolving door of average talent we've had at LB for the last 10 years or so. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | I know project guys usually |
I know project guys usually don't contribute early, but with Molk in the 7th round last draft, and Marcus Cannon in the draft before there are exceptions. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | The difference is the year |
The difference is the year before he only had 3. Honestly I can't understand your enthusiasm about a perennial backup If you thought the guy who beat him out for the job was blah. I hope he succeeds, but I'd like them to have a better plan in place. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Justin Durant may have been |
Justin Durant may have been blah, but he led the team in tackles last year. 82 total, 61 solo. Maybe Ashlee Palmer is good enough to pick up the slack of the teams leading tackler, but last year he played in 15 games and started twice, but logged only 9 tackles at the teams most productive position. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | They only have 6 |
They only have 6 (really 4 who've played) and have yet to replace the starter they lost. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Lions just don't seem in any |
Lions just don't seem in any way concerned about their offensive line or LB depth outside of their 3rd round pick. I suppose I shouldn't be concerned about it either. |

Congrats to Big Will, and the Jets. They got a hardworking lineman. I expect we'll see much more from him in the future. |
| 3 weeks 2 days ago | Thank God we picked up a good |
Thank God we picked up a good receiver, because we're gonna need him to play along with Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson, Ryan Broyles, Brian Robiskie, Reggie Bush, Brandon Pettigrew, Tony Scheffler, plus the 9(!) other wide receivers we have sitting on the bench. I was worried we were gonna run out of targets to throw to. |

On the one hand I'm all: Fuck the Jags! They stole Denard and Joeckel from the Lions! and on the other hand I'm all: Go Jags! My new favorite team! Denard and Henne play for you! |
