I think the thing here is that if the NCAA were to investigate Ohio State, they would also have to investigate all the other schools mentioned in the article.  Also, from what Luchs revealed, it seems like the violations were so widespread that it would probably touch many more schools.  The NCAA likely just doesn't want to devote the resources for a country-wide investigation.  Unfortunate.

I would definitely be interested in hearing the coaching issues you noted.  I'm not trying to be a dick, but I noticed the DB's playing tighter than they have in previous games and yards are to be expected when the offense passes 60+ times.

Yeah, it was resurfaced in 2003 with FieldTurf. We are 50-25 since the resurfacing.

So I think this is the root of the entire issue, but there is no audio track recognized by windows or the media players. If you look at the file details, you can see all the frame rates etc., but audio is n/a. Also, in VLC player, the audio options are grayed out and in Quicktime you can't extract the audio track. Again, this is probably the source of the audio problems, but I just wanted to toss it out there...

Is anyone else having problems with the audio? I first tried playing it in wmp and vlc without the provided software, but to no avail. I then tried the mpc+ac3 software and it still did not have sound. wtf?

What I don't understand is how they can pass up Maualuga and Everette Brown for a player whose position is very weak overall in this draft. Yes, the Lions could use a safety, but they have many defensive needs and Maualuga or Brown would have been a much stronger choice in my opinion.

Isn't there also the possibility that they intentionally miss the second and get a 3 or 4 point play?
