|16 hours 36 min ago||Thanks for this...||
I would have missed these and they are worthy.
|16 hours 42 min ago||Do you let your 14 y.o. hang out with derelicts?||
I'm not saying this is what is going on here but seriously??... are you willing to say that you would allow your kids to make bad decisions and "hope" that it is not irreversible without doing everything possible to help them?
|1 week 6 days ago||I'm not optimistic...||
I'm just not dwelling in the wreckage of the future... which you are. Enjoy that.
Lewan came back last year and that didn't make much difference overall did it? His absence though sad is not a deal breaker. If all the lineman block their assignments in a new maybe simpler scheme things will be relatively much better.
The truth about the OL is going to be invisible to any fan until the season is in full swing.
|2 weeks 39 min ago||New coach, simple scheme, fresh blood... it's not all bad||
Kugler and Dawson are big adds. Kalis, Bosch and Glasgow have experience, character and leadership. Injury rebounds from Magnuson, Burzynski and Fox are question marks but all are capable of impact. I'll take some pressure from the edge for a little traction up the middle.
The cheerleaders are pretty awesome...
Whoops... wrong picture...
Is this better?...Go Blue!
|2 weeks 19 hours ago||Uhh... there have been more ridiculous posts...||
Just keeping it real.
|2 weeks 23 hours ago||Medical issues are under the hood...||
this explains Burzynski and Bosch coming in when they did and Bryant's play in general.
I also wonder if JMFR might have lost a lateral step post injury. He came back so early I wouldn't judge him from last year... but he was a step away from some big plays that he made pre injury. This move to Mike is more downhill and maybe a medical as well as a scheme move.

as any man. There are physical standards to be upheld for any specialty. Special Ops is particularly challenging for women to qualify and execute. Once they do however each soldier brings their own ability - in the case of combat - including the ability to lug you from danger. For some combat specialties women as a class are superior - yet still are not allowed to serve (not so much for professional football - though I think there are women who could carry the rock - just damn few.)
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Soldier <> Football Player||
There have been many 120lb soldiers who have killed their fair share of unfortunate 200lb enemies. Soldiers don't tip scales to see who dies first.
No commander sends his soldiers into a killing field without reason. When they do - the more macho they come... the harder they fall.
Women are done a disservice here for whatever reason. Women who serve deserve better.

This is disheartening and tragic. She needs to meet guys who care enough about her not to let this happen.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||It wouldn't have been fair to Demar to admit him...||
he had no real ability to make good on a Michigan scholarship. There isn't a curriculum that could have served his needs at this- or at any other D-1 school. Time has shown that Admissions made the right call in that respect.
That said I think everyone would agree that Michigan did not get the Demar Dorsey recruitment right. I am ashamed of my school for publically accepting a LOI from Demar before vetting his ability to succeed in the classroom. This is definitely nothing to take pride in as BC seems to imply.
I don't think the Free Press had any effect on this decision by Michigan. If Demar's application and classes were in order - he would have been admitted IMO. Football loves redemption. RR believed in the kid.
|4 weeks 4 days ago||This is odd.||
Malik will find his path that much is certain. More power to him wherever he does his pathfinding.
If I truly was concerned about my son's circle I would tighten it not loosen. Encouraging him to go far from it is just as likely to land him in the thick of it. But college is a good venue to recreate yourself. That is probably what Malik's dad is saying along with the under current that recreation is imminent. Entendre be thy double.
Parents are fun.

...including the timeline and change in Title IX policy, I'm OK with how this was handled including Hoke's comments. It's not a great day but the times are changing. What used to be he said she said is the new expulsion. Time to pay heed and move on.
There is another standard than rape that gets you kicked out of school. Quibbling on that fact is irrelevant to the delay and misrepresentation. If it was rape the police are as culpable in not proceeding but again, that is not the issue here so much as the actions or inactions around the event.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||In hindsight would you have done the same thing?...No ... it||
wouldn't have been worse by much to move Schofield over. I'm trying to figure out how it could have been worse given the negatives and positives of this idea. Losing Bosch in 2018 is certain and that is a fifth year senior - big loss. Schofield played guard previously and did OK. Braden could have perhaps picked up some needed game experience at RT. The downside being Braden fails at RT catastrophically and Schofield regresses at guard? Hmm... hindsight is more certain than I think you suspect.
If I had my druthers I would have had Bryant or Braden finish out at guard when Burzynski went down. Dawson and Fox come in next year and this was Bryant's chance to earn his scholarship by at least protecting Bosch's fifth year...at the least.
Nobody is pluperfectly perfect but it is perfectly certain hindsight to say we could have played 2013 better personnel wise on the OL. Tell me something subjunctively certain ... no one can do that. Oh wait... there is that time when it would have been better not to let BWC block on extra points and instead get a fifth year. I guess that is certain.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||Hindsight definitely agrees with this...||
certainly it would have been better than losing Bosch in the 2018 season.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||Why not move the draft up... besides it making sense and all...||
Is there a reason the date can not be moved up?
|7 weeks 1 hour ago||Is it fodder or is it really pandering to the fans with...||
a look to cover their bets if Michigan beats ND? Without pandering neither Michigan nor ND deserves rank this early.
The schedule with shake this potential ranking out to implausibility week on week. There really isn't a chance this many B1G teams could be ranked late in the season until we start to win head to head match ups with other teams with regularity.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah... no reason what so ever...||
All season long we give up the short stuff then decide to play tight vs. Tyler Lockett.
Sometimes you play tight. Sometimes you don't. If you play any way all the time... you get burned. I would like to see tighter coverage but only if we win. Otherwise... please give up the short stuff and let them make the mistakes.

Spelling and grammar separate this site from others. I didn't call you out until people started the negs. I made a pun on your laziness - that is all. Own it. Better yet... fix it and make me look stupid. It's not that hard to pop it back into a spell checker and resave. Instead you made this comment which probably took you longer.
It's Michigan forgodsake.

|9 weeks 2 days ago||2013 MSU > 2013 Stanford - where is the delusion in that?...||
This victory adds cred to the conference schedule next year and the games played this past season as well. This is important if but glacially important . Iowa's respectable loss does the same. Minnesota... not so much...
The beauty of yesterday was MSU > Stanford. It was a very nice football day. Meyer is not the standard this year - Dantonio is... and his game is up. Let's cut the Meyer talk until we see him play Clemson tomorrow. He had a chance to play for the championship and blew it. I don't see how that gives credence to the B1G.
This year... B1G > Pac12... let's eat and rejoice...
