Admit you don't care about spelling or that you regret your error. Spelling matters here and in most of the literate word. Quit the incredulous act.

believe it or not. Verboten.
A tragedy in any context.

This spelling smashup has the makings a virtuosic diary.

= DU. This is pretty common at many schools.

They are incoming Juniors. If they are careful and lucky they can transfer the classes they took, but in general they aren't. JUCOs go to Junior College because they can't go to a four year school. They have to transfer in with the same progression toward a Michigan degree that our recruits have shown - as a third year Michigan undergrad. That is not easy.
The plurality of Michigan football players are kinesiology or general studies majors. I'm not saying these degrees are hard but JUCO courses don't transfer necessarily. For kinesiology - you would be hard pressed to cover equivalent classes at Grand Rapids CC. If one or two classes don't transfer that puts the incoming student in a pretty big hole. Most of the high end talent coming out of JUCOs are kids who take a least some of the classes that don't transfer.
Equivalencies are posted on the UM admissions site. Check it out. Try and find equivalient kinesiology classes. You may find them but are they offered every term? There is a reason JUCOs don't work at Michigan. That said - if a coaching staff wanted to start the program - they could. Alabama will stick a player or two away in a JUCO with an understanding that they can join the team in a year or two. Their classes are coordinated with admissions and it's another way they make it work. Nebraska, Kansas and Kansas State are just some of the schools that can work well for JUCOs - not just for football but for all the students in their region. Michigan transfers are mostly kids who are highly motivated and necessarily take the classes they know will transfer.
There is more to say here but your premise that they probably have the same credentials as our Junior student athletes is wrong.

Calhoun has my approval over Schiano.

It didn't used to be this hard. We used to experience our failures at the hands of worthy opponents and blind referees. For too long we have wallowed in our own gridiron internecine poison.
Please make it stop. Someone who can manage a game clock, inspire a teenager to become a student athlete and be good at football. It's a crazy train.

defense into short fields. To do what he does on offense - dictates a certain defense. Stitt needs to be the HC wherever he goes.

I prefer a good coach to a not so good coach. Bo would play the B1G with a vengeance. His players love him because he is a good coach. He's outspoken and for the most part well spoken.
I don't want him if we can get someone better, but I'm not going to cry if it's Bo.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||I like Cats.||
If we can't get #1 or #2 then Bo Pellini would be OK with me. It could be much worse - as in no change or promotion of Nussmeier. Bo would clean house - he recruits Ohio. His players love him. I would be ok with this, but not without pursuing #1 and #2. He is a crazy but good coach. But, again, I would prefer a crazy good coach. Sometimes those don't work out though.

were they aware? This is not a fully aware joke. What was the university doing to help this guy? If his family was aware of concussions - I would think the trainers and coachs would be as well.

Miles would not be able to start a hostess, grade altering or drug ignorance scheme here. Michigan is miles away from the Oklahoma State of the mid 2000s. Miles has mellowed with his baggage as well. We could do much worse - Hoke, for example, is worse. Mike DeBord is worse. Harbaugh brings baggage as well. I'll take baggage at this point.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||It was good...||
there are so many Michigan moments like that. It's what makes OSU such a big game. I will never forget that Iowa game. CFB is great in it's infamy as well as it's ecstasy.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Reader... Miles is a Michigan man||
Say what you want about him but he's maize and blue through and through. He's not going to come here to break the rules. He would come to enforce them. Give the guy a chance. I'm not saying he is coming but if he does please give him a chance before undermining him. Your attitude doesn't help IMO even at this stage.
Good god... we will be lucky to attract HS coaches at this rate. Bring on Faust.

I didn't neg this but come on ...Miles is a great get...live a little...don't fail from fear of failure...We've had enough of that.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Gut feelings from Bacon don't mean much at this point.||
His analysis of things past is value added...Rabacking the CC is not. Sam's gut on the other hand is connected to internal rumblings in the athletic department. I'm not convinced Sam even has connections to Hackett's process at this point.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||I want the UFR to check my own opinions about the team...||
but Hoke doesn't inspire me to rewatch for OL development. I doubt Brian is feeling that motivated to produce for the same reason not at least until we get out of this Funk. That said OL development is huge for the next staff and for this team next year. UFR please.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Serious?||
The UFR is not about what Hoke thinks rather it is about what fans think. I can't imagine fans are seriously listening to Hoke to shape their opinions on the performance of the players and team...not at this point at least.
Brian may be busy but it's ennui driving the lack of UFRs in my mind at least. Spending mulitple hours to ferret out OL performance is crazy thinking.

Michigan would be a sweet 16 lock. The days are still bright, but I miss Horford for his presence. He was a great student and a model athlete at Mich. Now he is the same at Florida. Kind of odd to see him in that uniform.
