was Harbaugh's arm getting broken and Michigan not having a good backup. They were 3-1 before the MSU game when the injury happened. They had talent at many other positions, but not enough to overcome the Harbaugh injury. Maybe that experience is what sowed the seeds of Harbaugh's loading up on QB's today. Hard to say.
|3 days 16 hours ago||One of the main reasons for that is||
either he or someone else writes up the questions ahead of time. My guess is it's someone else, because the questions are usually well-written and thought out for the most part. If he attempted to ad-lib the interview, it would be a disaster.

This was before they renovated it. The visitor's seats were nothing more than tall high school bleachers, and rickety ones at that. If you dropped anything, it was gone. What a dump.

but it's just not in the cards.

I just hope my PC is still working after the upgrade. My experience with Windows 8 has been bad.

at my age, I'd be making an unscheduled appointment with my orthopedic surgeon ASAP.

succeed on the field here, it is still a fact that he wasn't given complete support here. And that's shameful and something Michigan fans should not be proud of.

1. Lower the price of bottled water to something that isn't thievery.
2. Find the next great hockey coach - maybe Pearson
3. Tone WAY down the overly loud and annoying recorded music - especially before the games when we're trying to actually have a decent conversation with the people who sit next to us.
4. Help find his permanent replacement who will be the best AD we've had since Don Canham. I respect and believe Jim Hackett when he says he doesn't want this job long term and would like to retire. I'd be fine if he changed his mind, but we need a long term guy in there soon.

destroyed the phone intentionally, accidently dropped it in the toilet, or whatever. He was under NO obligation to turn it over to the league with a ton of private information on it that no one has any business seeing. The NFL's kangaroo court should never, ever be confused with an actual court of law where they can subpoena information like that. Besides, from what Tom Brady just said in his statement, he gave them everything of consequence on the phone anyway.
|4 days 23 hours ago||From the beginning this has been a plot by||
Boss Goodell to distract everyone from his incompetence in mishandling all the other recent and far more significant cases (Peterson, Ray Rice, Bountygate, et al). The Patriots and Tom Brady proved the perfect patsies (sorry for the pun) around which he could create a bogus media storm and shameless witch hunt. People even fell for the rigged Wells investigation as "impartial" evidence that Brady was guilty. Then, by issuing these outrageous penalties to the Patriots and Brady for extremely minor alleged violations of letting air out of footballs, he made himself appear to be the "tough guy who was righting a great wrong". The whole thing makes me want to vomit. I hope Tom Brady sues the NFL and Goodell for a shit ton of money for defamation of character and wins. Then, maybe, then Goodell will finally get dumped by the owners for his gross incompetence.
|5 days 18 hours ago||I didn't realize this guy was 2015||
Can Michigan fit him in if he wants to come here and he gets thru Admissions? Sounds like a low center of gravity inside runner though. Can always use a guy who can get first downs.
|5 days 19 hours ago||Or||
I REALLY want to see TB take Goodell and the NFL to court and take them to the cleaners. I wonder though whether they can do this before the NFL season starts.
|5 days 19 hours ago||So much for the Crystal Ball prediction.||
He definitely has the DJ Wilson hair look! Welcome aboard Ibi! It's good to finally get some good basketball recruiting news.
|5 days 20 hours ago||I'm glad to see it gone||
I never believed in bringing the numbers out of retirement in the first place. They were retired for a reason - to honor the great accomplishments of the men who wore them. Bringing them back didn't accomplish anything on the field - that's for sure - other than in maybe Devin's game against ND with Mark Harmon watching.

Can't wait for the season to begin.
|6 days 22 hours ago||Gotta get the ball in his hands||
as much as reasonably possible. I thought special teams (returning kicks) would be the most logical in addition to safety. But, heck, slot receiver works too. Even if they put him in on offensive plays and he doesn't get the ball, he can be a real asset as a diversion. Defenses will have to adjust and put someone on him.
|6 days 22 hours ago||Thank you for the great writeup||
I'm really excited to see how good of a player Newsome will be with the coaching he's going to get here. With his intelligence, size, and ability, the sky may be the limit with him.
|1 week 2 days ago||Is this your first post or what?||
Too many questions. Too disjointed. Either way, I'll play along. Harbaugh will be very successful here. How soon and how much is hard to say. His track record says he gets a lot out of what he has and is very good at developing players. But every situation he comes into is very different. Michigan fans though, will have to keep expectations in check given what has happened here in the last 7 seasons. It may take time to fix the problems. But, if Harbaugh stays for the long time, I am VERY optimistic about how things will go.
|1 week 3 days ago||Precisely. A lot of this whole Brady/Patriots||
witchhunt has been to avert everyone's attention away from where the blame should really be placed - on the NFL for having lax or non-existent standards of quality control (for want of a better term) and for allowing each team to maintain their own balls. If the whole inflation level of each ball is that frickin important, why doesn't the NFL have some people controlling the ball supply for each game? In going after Brady, they are just looking for a fall guy to cover up their own screw ups.
|1 week 4 days ago||I am a BH Andover grad and I know the||
Bloomfield Hills district has been shrinking for years - especially after the Baby Boomers (like me) all got through there. Andover has been bulldozed and a new combined high school will open up this fall. My old elementary was closed as a public school many years ago. Many of these suburban Detroit districts have gone through this downsizing, especially as local populations have aged and no longer have kids in school. The BH district is relatively well off since the property tax base is still pretty high. But even then, older residents who may be retired are often very reticent about voting for millage increases for expensive new schools.

My wife and I knew Taylor's parents in college. His mother Kathy was a sorority sister of my wife, and we went to their wedding years ago. Both of them are among the nicest people you could meet. Many thanks for posting this. We will definitely be donating some money.
|1 week 4 days ago||Based on what my friend down in Toledo||
who has a boat has told me, that is 100% accurate about Put-In Bay. I wouldn't go to that shit hole even if someone paid me. The only good thing about it might be that it keeps all those cretins down in Ohio and away from nice islands in Michigan like Mackinac and Beaver.
|1 week 5 days ago||I believe it||
I'm keeping my expectations for Wagner low next season, so if he does make a real contribution it will be a big bonus. I think he's going to need a season to bulk up some, get his feet on the ground academically, and adjust to the much higher level of competition.
|1 week 5 days ago||Yes, as the article points out, Chatman was||
a disappointment last season. But he could easily bounce back to have a breakout season this year. It depends on where his head is at and how hard he works in the offseason I suspect. If he did have a breakout season, it would be a huge boost for Michigan's chances in the B10 this coming year. He seems to possess the physical talent to do well though. I still have high hopes for him.
|1 week 5 days ago||I doubt David Brandon will be lining||
up somewhere to buy this book and get it signed by JUB. It should be a much better read for Michigan fans in general though than Three and Out only because things have turned much more positive.

|2 weeks 1 day ago||So what if he speaks his mind sometimes?||
He's just a more confident, brash person than many of the other players on the team. I think this program needs more guys with "the fire" than what we've had the past 7 or 8 years. I remember we had a cocky, self-confident player back in the mid-80's that used to tick off Bo for speaking what he thought. That worked out pretty well for everyone I'd say.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Well said||
I think the only time booing is justified at college games is at the refs. And when it does occur, it's almost always obvious THAT is what the fans are booing at. The negative consequences of booing greatly outweigh any positive consequences, even if there were any.
