One of my biggest regrets as a fan was not going to one of the 1984 games in San Diego where we were living then. I was 3 years out of Michigan, newly married, and trying to be responsible about money. BUT.....
I hear 'ya. But, if we can develop a speed in space passing attack this year with our slot guys, RB's catching the ball, and Loveland, we can still do pretty well. We're not going to score like we did last year. With our D though, we'll be in most games we play. That's probably the most realistic option until we have a fully ready Jaydn Davis and some more WR dudes.
It's very hard to say. We haven't really seen Orji run the offense as a true starter with the first team offense. IF he can complete some passes, combined with our running game, he may be a lot more effective when he runs. This last season, everyone knew what he was going to do every time he came in.
I'm also skeptical we can find a transfer at this late date who'll be able to learn the offense and mesh with our current players by the opening game.

I also remember Bo complaining in the days after the game about what he believed was clear steroid use by the ASU team that season. That was also the time when Tony Mandarich played at MSU and was widely believed (at least by Michigan fans) to be on roids. Turned out to be true.
Agreed. That's why it's important to not judge people absolutely based on a couple incidents, without considering their other positive contributions. Juwan has always loved Michigan and his sratement shows that. He didn't work out as head coach, so be it. Michigan and he can part on good terms and go their separate ways.
Amazing moment. I had written this game off as a loss in that final 30 seconds. But the Houston guy missing those two FT's opened the door. And Poole was definitely fouled on the shot to boot.

This crapola makes my section of an original bench from Michigan Stadium look really valuable. Can't say how I got it. But you can pry up the fiberglass shell they put on it in the 60's and see the original redwood bench under it with the seat numbers stenciled on.
Geez. This is so sad. It's very hard to see such a wonderful young person like Craig pass away so young. I just turned 65 and things like this make me feel so blessed to still be around. Still, he leaves behind a 2 year old which makes me want to cry. As Billy Joel sang, Only the Good Die Young. It seems the truth here. RIP Craig. Enjoy Michigan's Valhalla.
You have to give them credit though, where credit is due. Unlike our Athletic Department, they know how to manipulate the NCAA and Big Ten as well as timing of when to release information. OTOH, our AD seems to always be in damage control. Why is that?
