As much as it irks me to hear

As much as it irks me to hear a former of U of M alum knock the program, it irks me MORE that it is true, and that our program has become MSU at the moment. If anything, you should probably thank Sharp for being man enough to be unmerciful, so we can get back to greatness.

You are right Brian. This

You are right Brian. This new generation of M fan really disgusts me. They'll rip on a guy like Gittleson in order to praise Barwis. They'll neg the hell out of truth, most of all. And the majority of them have never kissed a girl.

amolio...

Maybe Rod turned off people not appreciating the magnitude of the hire and the storied history, by the poor choice of the first words out of his mouth at the first press conference in saying " Great crowd...they must be giving out free hats or something " I know that turned me off big time. Here is someone who was hired out of the most storied program in college history, and cannot come up with something more reflective of that.

the last Maple we had play for us I think was LB Marc Spencer.

Because there can be DOUBLE

Because there can be DOUBLE meaning by doing so, with the middle finger. If those two reporters were in fact in the crowd, then my money would surely be on it.

Fine, however RichRod and any coach expect that for a top recruit like Dorsey, for it goes with territory.

The Rosenberg allegations blindsided him, enough to make him cry.

Totally different, agree ?

The Dorsey interview is

The Dorsey interview is completely different, and surely wasn't the first time RichRod was questioned about a recruit with a past. All coaches get hounded about sketchy recruits, and the focus was on the player, not RichRod.

Am interested to know if

Am interested to know if Rosenberg and Snyder were in the audience.

FWIW, a friend/hallmate and former Bo and Mo player who is quite in-the-know, said that Miles would have been the guy but he was "demanding" way to many things, and really turned off the decision makers, which I presume they though was un-Michigan like.

I for one think Brandon is

I for one think Brandon is playing it perfectly, exactly what I'd expect. He also left wiggle room to fire the coach if need be after the upcoming season.

As a side comment, I quite

As a side comment, I quite frankly, would expect a old-school faction of sorts, one always wanting to return to our former style of play, considering the great success it had vs the polar opposite style currently. It will be a battle, but the faction will shrink over time if Rod succeeds, but it will ALWAYS be there in some form. It is what is part of the essence of the Michigan man, and we need to accept it.

FWIW....A friend and hallmate

FWIW....A friend and hallmate who played for both Bo and Mo, actually told me last week that if Rod doesn't get 8 wins this year, there will "truly be trouble" from those with the powers, so it is not just the haters, but also the guards of our tradition. Am just passing along what I was told, and do not have an opinion either way on it.

Am glad to hear that you

Am glad to hear that you percieved Brandon as very^2 confident in Rodriguez, because Brandon's view on him really will be the huge issue in the future.
