We have guys that are going to play on Sundays within the next 2 years at the following positions:
QB
RB x2
WR (maybe x 2? I think CJ will stick on a roster despite his lack of eye-popping numbers)
TE x2
OL x2 at least (weakest spot on the O, Zinter would've made it 3! though. And I think we have more bullets in the chamber at tackle than it first appears, but that may be a maize tinted take)
Edge x? (hard to say but at least Moore, maybe all 4 of the main guys)
DT x at least 3
LB x2
CB x2 (weakest spot on D, but Mikey S is a superstar in college and Johnson might be a top 5 pick so no that weak)
Safety x2
For those keeping track, that is AT LEAST 18 major contributors that are ticketed for the pros. But sure, we are a pretender.

I think playing time might now follow traditional distributions for all players, b/c it doesn't matter which four games you play in, as long as you only play in 4.
I don't think a missed tackle on his 3rd play of the year is going to DQ Moore from potential AA status. I think he will round into form in the coming weeks, and hopefully be a dominating presence rolling into the meat of the schedule (November lol).
I kind of think Michigan is intentionally cutting off the last 20-25 plays of the games in some of these blowouts. As are their opponents. BGSU and Rutgers both conceded by the fourth quarter and were just running the ball to run the clock.
I think Michigan, if not sitting on an opponent in the second half, will probably get more plays in competitive games.

What do you do at that point? Run a bunch of plays really fast to run up the score, or potentially stall and have the other team have more chances to get lucky? No, you sit on the overmatched opponent and get out.

Michigan blew this team out with 6(!!!) non-garbage time possessions. They beat them by 3.5 scores on those 6 possessions. The D gave up one bust and then contained everything, knowing that Wimsat couldn't consistently beat them through the air.
Easy win. No big injuries. This team will continue to improve, just as they have the past 2 seasons.
