It would be great if it happens... I do not here much talk about how this format can be used for national championship implications.
16 team conferences, with 1/4 final battles, semi-finals, then championship game would be interesting... have 8 divisions all conferences with the same format; then you would have 25% participation in a national championship. (if you had the 8 conference winners playoff... this would eliminate alot of the bias with present system...
I just hope Delany and company read some of the stuff printed on this blog.

I am not the best on the computer, i dont know how to start a dairy, but im wondering what everybody else is doing about the free press, myself i quit reading them on internet. I did read Free Press this morning (which I will stop now), Drew sharp is making a call for Coach Rod's head, and said he looked like a beaten man, and the season has not even started...beyond pitiful... Coach Rod is a human being... Drew Sharp is a monster, now I know why lot of you folks dont like him. GO BLUE!
Someone at FREE Press is predicting a 5-7 season, and an opening loss, kinda ties in with the exaggarated over training. Drew Sharp would like nothing more than to see Michigan fail, to see us suffer, than he can brag how he helped oust Coach Rod,,, this has to be a rallying cry for all loyal Wolverines...
What helped to create this situation was Carr was beginning to slack off a bit at the end of his coaching career ( read go blue michigan wolverine blog... i know, i know, lot of you talk of all this coach Carr integrity, but he did not want to coachhis last year... Carr can be quoted saying that he was hoping Mary Sue (head of um) would ask him if he wanted to coach anymore or something like that... Carr should of "Man-upped", or grew a few or something and just quit, unless sliding into home with one more year of big paychecks was more appealing... the perfect storm is going from cold to hot, a dramatic change at u of m.
I am truly appalled about all the attacks on coach rod...
there is a bird , I think the albatross that is ungainly on the ground, and trying to take off, but once in the air is a beautiful flying machine... I compare coach Rod to this bird. If he can survive his ungainly take off, and soar into the maize and blue sky he will be one of the great coaches ever... the naysayers best chance to destroy him is now... once he begins to soar he will be invincable to all of this nonsense.
WHEN Marice Clarett made his accusations against Ohio state and everybody scoffed at him because his credibility was low... but one sports writer (prominent said it rang true, and was backed up with facts... i also heard inside information, that I believe to be true... Clarett made some poor decisions but he first tried to protect Ohio State, and was considered evasive when questioned. Only when Ohio State abandoned him did he retaliate by sqealing... Ohio state got away with one...
Whats up with USC, the fab five got dragged thru the mud, and the Reggie BUsh deal is so obvious and they still get away with it... money and such is a severe violation.
If Michigan gets punished beyond probation, I give a one finger salute to Ohio State, USC, and NCAA.

He will develop, give him a chance and peace too for that matter... Coach Rod and team's desire is to win, and to use its talent to best use... I sometimes wonder if Sheridan is writng some of this garbage, because i love coach Rod to death, but we cannot repeat last years performance...

Good in practice does not mean good in real game situation... lots of mental issues, just like the stock market you can pretend trade, but when your using real money, then the pressure is on...
Also did not Sheridan impress in pre seasonlast year?
Either this blog or Varsity blue compared Sheridans throwing ability to that of a shot putter, last year?
Coach Rod is being kind and true... the position is open , but soon to close. Sheridan might start to be true to Sheridan but next series will be tates... one disaster season is one too many.
