I don't plan on doing any drinking this weekend, but I will be watching the Wings tonight and the Tigers throughout the weekend. Also, I'm planning on hiking around Vedauwoo on Sunday and, at some point this weekend, starting my first attempt at reading Gravity's Rainbow. |

There is nothing scenic about I-75 in northern Georgia, except the carpet warehouse just north of Dalton with the words "Beaver Carpets" on its roof. Southern Kentucky to just North of Knoxville is scenic, though. |

| 12 weeks 3 days ago | From Summitpost's essential |
From Summitpost's essential gear section for the Mountaineer's route: "A helmet is strongly advised, as the gullies contain lots of loose rock. Crampons and ice axe are needed until all the snow melts. If you are not confident on exposed third class terrain, a rope, harness, some slings, and a few pieces of rock pro will allow you to protect the last 500 vertical feet of the climb." |

| 12 weeks 3 days ago | 1. Watch some Tigers spring |
1. Watch some Tigers spring ball, Michigan game on Sunday, clean the house, read, and possibly go snowshoeing. 2. I'm currently looking at packs, but it's proving difficult to find one that fits well. However, purchasing a pack can wait since most of the good/challenging backpacking areas here (Wyoming) require mountaineering skills this time of the year. 3. Yes 4. A regular 'ole grilled cheese with tomato soup. |

I went to two highschools in Gwinnett (Berkmar and South) and the amount of D1 talent that comes out of that county in all sports is amazing. When I was a Berkmar we were top 10 in the nation in basketball, and Brookwood and Parkview were the same in football. Like Buccaneer said above, football is a religion in those parts. |
