|4 weeks 2 days ago||About hurting the other team's feelings||
I was referring to it as being unsportsmanlike behavior. I also think it sounds lame. I prefer the Go Blue! and always have. It places the emphasis on the fact that our team made a good play and brings energy to the atmosphere.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||Lack of sportsmanship.||
I agree this is classless and shows a lack of sportsmanship. There is one thing I wish Michigan would stop doing during football games that I think is classless. That is when the other team doesn't get a first down on third down, and the students all yell, "You suck!"

Is he not 18 yet? Why would a kid need his parents signature to attend college?
|5 weeks 4 days ago||I think he will pick Michigan State.||
Once he gets a scholarship from a college, he will no longer be dependent on his family. If he wants to go there bad enough, he will go there.

I have a feeling Malik is trending toward Michigan State, and that this is the parents worrying about his perception about loving Michigan State's atmosphere. I can see Malik still choosing Michigan State. All I can picture is a highschool kid at the Under Armour game choosing the opposite school his mother wants. Then, the mother showing disgust and anger because of her sons choice. If the parents had their way, I believe, Malik would be coming to Michigan. However, since they think he wants Michigan State and for the reasons he has already made known, they are now saying they want him to go out of state.

It is nice to see Michigan's wrestling team doing so well. I am from Ohio, and it was actually Michigan's wrestling team that got me interested in Michigan football. When I was in gradeschool, I was a wrestler and Michigan was well known for their wrestling team.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||I don't see any harm with this situation.||
I think people can spin this a lot of different ways to either look good or bad. We only have a little information to go by, so no one really knows if Mattison purposely interrupted Narduzzi or not. Also, I too am curious where people are reading that this is a race between everyone else, but Michigan. The little information I have gathered is that no one knows one way or another how this will turn out. I am keeping my hopes up; and I am also happy with the group we have committed to us currently.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||I think it is funny.||
I am not an avid watcher of the show, so maybe that is why I find it amusing. The same goes for Two and a Half Men. I think it is pretty darn funny at times, but not something that is a must watch.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||What I love is the announcer.||
After they show a replay of the Michigan State player all over the Iowa player's back, the announcer says, "He got it clean." These announcers are jokes.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||Are you kidding?||
They have two NBA gaurds. The refs are just preparing them for the big leagues.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||This is very confusing.||
I hope there was no coverup. All I can think of is Penn State's recent problem with Sanduski and Paterno. I know this would not be as serious of a case because it was a student. However, this would be horrible if it was in fact a coverup.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||I can't wait until signing day!||
I would love to end all this speculation and accept the kids that sign their letters of intent to Michigan. I hope that McDowel joins that group.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||OT?||
I thought Kate Upton is never off topic? And nice post!
|7 weeks 1 day ago||Regarding Campbell||
I get a feeling that he was swayed away from his family and has lost that desire to come here. Also, this makes me think it is more unlikely that he will want to play here because it sounds like he cares more about what his family thinks. I don't believe this is a bad thing necessarily. Some people are family people. However, if he was truely a Michigan fan his whole life and then all the sudden allowed his parents to change his mind about coming here, that tells me his parents probably don't want him that far away.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||What is his relationship to Michigan?||
Does he have a family member that played for Michigan? I noticed he is from California and to have Michigan as his dream school is pretty cool. Also, I don't really know much about him, but I like the pass rushing ability from his highlights. I would love for MIchigan to finally get some players who can put consistent pressure on the other teams quarterback. It has been far too long.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||Regarding Harris decommitting||
I just don't understand why these kids commit to a coach over a school. Especially in the case that this kid has said Michigan has always been his favorite school. I feel like this might not be different from Campell because he is from Kentucky, and not Ohio or MIchigan.
This is just my own speculation because I get a feeling kids that say they love Michigan and don't live in the battlefield of the rivalry, probably don't have deep attachment to the school.
Me being from Ohio and having to deal with my family and friends bashing Michigan my whole life, has of course deepened my passion for the school. I know everyone is different. I try to put myself in these kids situations, and I could never see my self decommitting from Michigan, if given the opportunity to play there.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Is Harris that good?||
I don't mean this as a way to put down Harris. I am asking, honestly, if he is that good to not take another runningback. I know I have repeatedly seen people on here post that we are light on running back depth and having a need for more runningbacks on the roster. I have to admit I am extremely ignorant when it comes to the depth issue, and what we need. I would think even if Harris is that good, he would not mind some competition.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||I agree 100% about your assessment of Crabtree.||
I never understood how Sherman could say that Crabtree was only an average widereceiver. Crabtree was double covered and had no opportunity to get to the ball.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||Sam Webb's roundup||
Can anyone tell me where I can listen to Sam Webb's discussion on recruiting matters? I live in Dayton, Ohio and would be interested in hearing him talk about recruiting.
|7 weeks 5 days ago||I think it was an emotional driven comment.||
I get both sides of the discussion. I understand how a person who is passionate about what he does can respond this way, if he is an emotional person. I do not think it is appropriate to behave that way in public, but I can see how it could happen.
I personally don't care for the personal boasting comments stating that he is the best cornerback, and belittling another player. However, I feel the same way about Crabtree's responses back to Sherman. This unfortunately is part of sports and is the definition of unsportsmanship.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||I agree||
I love Brady, but he missed a couple crucial passes today. It was unfortunately an off day for him. However, I do think Patriots were missing too many crucial pieces on defense and offense, to truely have a competetive day against the Broncos at their home. Peyton had the crowd on his side, and did anyone else notice that after almost every play, the Broncos had a defensive player on the ground hurt. If they were doing that to slow down the Patriots, which I believe they were, there needs to be something done about not letting a defense do that.
|8 weeks 1 day ago||What is the opinion on Mack's abilities?||
Does anyone have any opinions on how Mack looks as a prospect? I have only recently heard all the buzz around Jones because of the UA game. Does Mack play saftey in highschool, along with runningback? The reason I ask that is because of the suggestions that he could possibly switch possitions if needed.
|8 weeks 2 days ago||McDowell and the safety topic||
I know it might not look as good from the recruiting services as before, but I really would like to see McDowell come to MIchigan. We can really use some exceptional players on the defensive line. I am not sure if he will turn out to be exceptional, but he has some of the physical attributes to lend one to think he has the possibliity to be really good.
Also, I am no expert on football positions, but I always was under the impression that cornerbacks were more athletic than safties. I always thought because of their athleticism a cornerback could easily switch to saftey, but not the other way around. Is that correct?
|8 weeks 2 days ago||Hey me too!||
Also, I am still under 100 points. I tend to enjoy reading the posts more than I prefer writing. However, sometimes during the season I feel like I am not even part of the blog because I can never post anything during the live game blogs. Is there a requirement that requires someone to have more than a specific amount of points to allow their posts to pass through during live game blogs?
|8 weeks 2 days ago||I loved reading the comments of all the different fans.||
It is funny how people argue which quarterback is better. I think it is very difficult to determine which quarterback is better out of Manning or Brady. I have always liked Brady more because I am a Michigan fan, but I would be ignorant not to notice that Manning is also a great quarterback. I particularly love the arguments that one has won more superbowls or the other has played with less talent. Football is a team sport, and when you are as good as both these quarterbacks, it is difficult to determine which is better.
|8 weeks 2 days ago||I would be okay with you getting a tattoo of a buckeye.||
I would support you getting a tattoo of a buckeye anywhere on your body, if it would help Michigan become dominant again. ;) See what I did there. I did not say I would support me getting a tatoo, but you.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||I agree that Gardner should start over Morris.||
However, I am excited to see how Morris will grow under the mentorship of Nuss. I loved how Morris throws the ball, and I think once the wide receivers get used to catching bullets he can be dangerous. I am not comparing him directly to Tom Brady because Brady is perhaps the best if not one of the best quarterbacks ever. But, I do see a resemblence with Morris throwing the ball with confidence and love how strong an arm Morris has. I believe he could grow into a great quarterback. The reason I was so excited about watching Morris play during the bowl game was because of the potential I saw for him in the future.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Kalen Ballage||
I wonder if Ballage has been in contact with Nuss, and how interested he is in Michigan? You would think he has to know about Jones' interest in Michigan and that he is planning on visiting soon.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||I think people should be realistic.||
I am excited about the hire too. However, we do not know which way this will go. I know I have read on here from a couple of posts that Nuss has not had full control over the offense at either of his last two coaching jobs. Therefore, I am wondering how confident we can be that he will come here and be able to be in full control. I am not saying he is incapable. I am only saying that this makes me a little nervous that he has not had full control over an offense and will here. I am excited about the proven track record for teaching quarterbacks.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||That would be great!||
I am really excited to see how he plays and to have Darboh back in the fold. Having tall athletic wide receivers could really boost our production on offense. I loved Jeremy Gallon, but just imagine if we would have had a couple tall fast elite wide receivers when Gallon played. We could have played Gallon in the slot and that would have been a dangerous offense.
